THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING THING EVER! The OddBawZ Mascot and Logo is being made into a Toy! Oddo is a little Undead Lightning Pilot and is the perfect desk ornament to give you good luck on your War Thunder adventures!
Today, I'm joined with Defyn. As we take the English Electric Lightning F.53 into Ground Realistic Battles to try and destroy tanks!

The Lightning F.53 is Rank 6 Premium Jet for the British Tech Tree. This particular variant has the ability to carry almost 200 SNEB rockets as well as two AAM's in the form of Firestreaks or the HUGE Red Top Missiles.
Today our lightnings strike TWICE! Well... maybe. It's not that great! lol

4:20 I get caught in volumetric on the side of this type of Leo Chassis like 60% of shots. I started swapping my aim because it happened so frequently.

I wish they would bring in being able to change the bomb load once you land at your airfield, it just makes all kind of sense. like say you spawn a plane but don't have enough SP to bring in ordnance and you get enough points to once you're in your plane you can land and change the bomb load out.

Yea my biggest issue with the Lightning is the gun placement. Its like English Electric was: - Here's your new military jet. Its fast , has good flight characteristics, and even comes with a radar! Airforce: - Interesting. Please tell more about its weapon systems! E.E.: - Its what? ... OH! ... Its just the prototype! The serial planes will have ... guns; ... and missiles too, of course. (Darn it! I knew we forget about something.)

The guns feel like an afterthought because the guns were an afterthought. Originally it was only armed with missiles and later the pilots asked for guns to be added.

@@Finleymcg Still the original, only 2 AAMs would not be much, for a frontline fighter.

@@TomPrickVixen True but this was designed at a time when missiles were going to take over as the main air defence unit. Therefore a stopgap aircraft was needed to cover until the SAMs were ready. A interesting fact is that pilots felt the aircraft turned better when it had the missiles in place.
