If you are doing letter challenges, you should do the Name Challenge. You each catch pokemon starting with CHILLIN and QUICKGG. Each letter gets eliminated after you catch one. You could fully evolve, since "I" kind of is tough.
Also a funny moveset on Registeel. Gyro ball: more damage the slower the user is than the target, electroball: more damage the faster the user is than the target, and even drum beating with can lower speed. Then vacuum wave is a bit funny as a move that makes the user faster than the opponent.
Future Sight is just like if Psychic was stronger and took two turns to actually hit. Like, it's just a move that takes a while to land. So yes, it does get STAB, and it does still use Mewtwo's stats.
I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle as well.
One challenge that will make the editor happy could be this: You have 10 minutes to catch a team of up to six fully-evolved non-legendary pokemon. If you decide to skip a Pokemon you must halve the time remaining (rounding down). Scyther counts as fully-evolved for the challenge!
On first thought I said this is stupid, but then I remembered that in Pokemon Unite it's the evolution Pokemon that can choose not to evolve, and unite is rather lore based.
First 5 minutes were insane, my brain was like "okay chilln's starting with a legend he's got the upper hand..." "oH QuickGG got a legend too okay good!" "...no way bro just got another legend, okay chilln's probably got this bagged with that luck." "NO WAY WHAT ARE THE ODDSSSSSS LETS GO"
The 5 year old chellenge: Find a five year old. Randomize your game. Tell the five year old you want the best possible team to beat your friend. Have them pick which six mon you have to catch live on stream.
Challenge ideas: 1. You can only catch a single type of all the types in the game. If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types. 2. One pokemon from every Gen 3. One random pokemon from each route 4. The wheel spin with all the different Generations but only fighting babies.
Challenge: You each catch, say, a dozen pokemon exclusively from random encounters (fishing, trees, etc.). Then, you form a team of six consecutively-caught pokemon. For example: you could take encounters 3-8, or 6-11, any combination of six as long as they were caught one after the other. I think you could run it just as well evolved as non-evolved.
When you caught omastar, there was a *very good* legendary Pokémon you could've hunted for, two actually. You could've caught origin forme palkia or dialga 😬
This challenges are funny in concept. But when horrendous misplays are made multiple times per battle, the fun to watch goes away very fast. When an Electivire stares down an recharging Lunala, and Electivire has a Boosting Move it can utilize later on, you not kill it directly in its recharge turn.... You boost first, then kill it the turn after because Electivire is faster. When A much weakend Mewto stands against a Stakataka, and has the opportunity to click Future Sight, you use this instead of a Leech Seed. Use the High Damage Potential of Future Sight since Mewto has that massive Special Attack. It will go up in two turns. So u let Stakataka kill ur Mewto after bringing Future Sight on, then go into Omastar. Kill it with 1 Turn. So the Full Future Sight Damage hits a fresh pokemon.
The chaperone challenge, catch 6 pokemon, 3 babies and 3 legends/pseudos. Each baby is linked to their "adult" and must be defeated before you can send out that legend.
New challenge: counterpick you go out in sword/ shield randomised and catch the first 3 random encounters, fully evolve, legends allowed with the other player watching. Then you separate and catch your remaining 3 pokemon no legends, to counter their team eg. Chilln gets a charizard so Quick looks for a rock type (or Blastoise) to beat it. Or you get super technical, say chilln catches 2 dragon types, chilln may expect Quick to catch a fairy or ice type to counter so catches a toxicroak as that covers either type fighting>ice and poison>fairy Love your guys videos!
The way future sight works is it uses the special attack of the user including buffs. If the user switches out or faints it uses the base special attack.
New challenge idea Put all gym leaders on a randomizer wheel Spin the wheel Whatever it lands on, you take that gym leader’s ace Pokemon Do it ten times Build your team. You can choose whether to randomize move sets and abilities or if you will make competitive teams
New Challenge for the first time ever. Pick a letter of the alphabet and only catch Pokemon starting with the same letter you choose or what letter the randomized spinner chooses
Okay, I had the dumbest challenge idea: the “Peek-At-Chu” challenge. You catch randomized wild pokemon for your opponent and only tell them the highest stat (not number) and randomized ability. From there, the chooser has the choice to take or pass the pokemon. Each player has only 3 passes. You do this until each player has a full team. All Pokémon are fully evolved for the battle. Each player also has the option to “Peek-At-Chu!” alongside the take or pass. If chosen, a coin is flipped. If the player calls the result, they see the pokemon in full and has the ability to skip them without using a pass. If the player fails to call the result, the player instead is forced to take a randomized Pikachu into the battle, unable to fully evolve it. Each player have an unlimited amount of “Peek-At-Chu!”s.
A challenge where you have to use 6 set BST ranges: Something like 2 total skips Random moveset (based on type) Random ability (except the final pick) No evolutions (you get what you pick) Time Limit of 20 minutes Six categories 200-300 BST 300-400 BST 400-500 BST 500-600 BST (Pseudos go in this category) 601+ BST One random encounter (No skips on this one, but you can give it any ability)
Challenge idea, 15 minutes to catch whatever pokemon you get to build your team, fully evolve, but you don't get to see move set or ability before picking your team.
Over two weeks of asking I have an idea for Scarlet and Violet. The two of you catch one Pokémon of each type. 18 each. Now. Once you have caught all of them. You can take turns choosing to pass or take. So for a fire type. If quick takes his fire type, then chillin has to take his. And vice versa. Same rule for passing. Now a couple of rules, 1. only one legendary. You can choose to catch only one. So for dragon. If you see a Dialga first, you can choose if you want that dragon or wanna save you legend for later. 2. Only one of each. So if you caught a gallade for fighting. Then you can’t catch a gallade for psychic. 3. Random moves and abilities. 4 no backtracking
For future challenges, Chillin - I consider Scyther a fully evolved pokemon. Changing it into a Kleavor or a Scizor is a *choice.* They all have the same BST, it's just arranged differently.
New challenge for you guys! CAN YOU GUYS TRY THIS NEW TREND IN JAPAN. ( Rock - Paper - Scissors ) HITMONCHAN Edition 5V5 Battle Scarlet & Violet only Use only 3 movesets for each Hitmonchan in your party. Focus Punch - An attack that is executed last. The user flinches if hit beforehand. The user focuses its mind before launching a punch. It will fail if the user is hit before it is used. ( Use to counter Upper Hand ). Mach Punch - The user throws a punch at blinding speed. This move always goes first. ( Use to counter Focus Punch ). Upper Hand - It will strike first and cause the target to flinch; otherwise, Upper Hand will fail. It also works on Abilities that give priority to moves. ( Use to counter Mach Punch ).
Better way to do this. Catch a random. Next pokemon you catch has to start with the first letter of the first pokemon caught. Catch your second based on that. Next pokemon has to start with the second letter in your second catches name. Catch your third based on that. Next pokemon has to start with the third letter of your third catches name. Keep on going. If the name is too short, count letters and wrap back around. For example, if Mew is your fifth catch, your sixth Pokémon would have to start with “e”. This should randomize the letter chain better, since certain letters are way more likely to start or end a name.
Cool challenge, maybe a connect 4 challenge? Box full of Pokémon, find a way to pick random numbers, whatever number you get, you take that Pokémon, if you connect 4 across, horizontal etc, you get to see what you pick one turn. If you don’t get connect 4, is random
I completely agree with your Scyther sentiment. As a hardcore Scyther fan, bro is perfect the way he is. With the same BST as Scizor, I see no reason you can't use him.
Crazy that chilln started singing that incubus song because I would not have recognized those lyrics before today when I was playing that song and I never noticed those opening lyrics and then chilln sings them in this video… random but weird!
Scythe absolutely counts. I think a rule change should be not targeting “fully evolved” but as long as you use the Pokémon in whatever form you catch (without evolving it) it is fine.
New challenge: both players pick random starter Pokemon. Twist: neither one will know the choices. Both players get to pick 3 to 5 letters from the alphabet. Letters work for both sides. This revealed the letter for the Pokemons names. After both picking the letter you choose a Pokemon. 2 skipps allowed. BUT, you can not pick the same letter twice in a row. So if you pick the letter A on the first set of starters, neither player can pick that letter for the next round. In round 3 you can use the letters from round 1 again.
New challenge: Catch yourself a team of Pokémon doesn’t matter how, then spin a wheel to determine which type weather ability is it going to have, (drought, snow warning, rain, etc)
Challenge Idea: 10 total catches, 3 random grass encounters, 3 tree shake encounters, 3 fishing hole encounters and 1 overworld catch of your choice. Pick the 6 best and use full competitive sets.
Rocket Challenge: You both randomize Trainer Pokemon. Both of you take on 8 Trainers catching One of their Pokemon each. You do NOT Fully Evolve them. Trainer 1 has 1 Pokemon. Trainer 2 has 2. Trainer 3 has 3. So forth till 6-8 have a full Team. This Challenge means except for the First Trainer, you have to decide if the Mon they throw out is Good Enough to Steal or if you risk them throwing out a Legendary later in the fight.
The Random movesets honestly make these videos either a fun challenge or a complete stomp for one side. They should set new rules to make sure the moves can't just be garbage.
New challenge : 6 random pokemon files, look at the starter (randomized) and choose together left / middle / right to exclude. Both of you will pick the remaining pokemon(s). If both of you exclude the same one, for example the right one, for example, you will pick left and mid. Then you choose the 6 pokemon you want from the pool and fight. No evolution.
31:10 I hear your heartbeat to the beat of the drums oh what a shame that you came here with someone so while you're still my arms let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
The extended homie challenge.... you start out with a fully evolved random encounter and you can pick anything you want as long as you have a good back story as to why it was roommates with your first mon and do it again with the next mon til you have 6...... no skips and to make sure the mons have each other's backs make it a competitive doubles or randomized doubles battle
Are there any ice/fighting types ... I havent played since gen 3 and i just started pearl but i love the videos gr8 content😊, & 14:45 why didnt chilln change his ability to like gg ... Is tht a real rule or did gg make tht up?
In my opinion Scyther is fully evolved as it's the only pokemon to not gain any bst. The closest other example would the eeveelutions, but those gain 200 bst. Scyther is just permanent rotom forms that also change stat spresd.
Challange idea: Generate 3 random 6-letter long words each (everyone get his own 3 words). Look for and catch any pokemon that start with the letters that are in said words to form a team that makes full word. You stop once you complete one of these 3 words (havign 3 words gives you more choices). Pokemon will be fully evolved to speed up searching, so you can look for a baby with different starting letter.
