39 yr old Dad of two here. I appreciate everything you all are doing, not just for the game of golf, but as decent human beings and great role models for the youth out there. Sometimes we forget that there is so much good in this country, and the whole GG crew is a vital piece of that. No pressure though.
56 year old Father of 2 and Grandfather of 1. I could not agree with you more. These guys are top notch, first class. All of GG are the same. I have yet to watch any of these guys play and not smile at the end. I have hope for my G'son.
I am a 29 year old father of 2 and I 100% agree with you I have been watching Garrett for a long time I was subscribed to channel before he had even hit 1000 subs. Amazing where it's gone and looking forward to more great content
I’ve just come to the realization, this video is an instant classic. Tight match. Comeback. Great golf from all players. Clutch moments. This was great content all the way through.
I also wanna say, and I know I’m speaking for a lot of people, thank you guys for being honest about the difference of being a pro and owning it. You guys went out there playing with awesome vibes and capitalized. Keep making the fire content your making. Best in the biz
Grant's game right now is on another level. His drives are getting longer and straither, it's crazy. If he can now figure out his short game (please change your wedges!), he could become very hard to beat. And right now, Garrett and Grant are completing each other so well, it's crazy (proof in the Good Good scramble at Payne's Valley)
35 min a straight 🔥 content…. Difference between Good Good and other channels is they are entertaining, informative, down to earth while being humble… best Golf Channel hands down
Humble... that’s the definition of why their videos are great. The level of respect that they show each other in the Good Family and their guest golfers. It’s pure to the golf game and highlights why it’s considered a gentleman’s sport. These kids were raised right and it’s refreshing to see manners and class in today’s environment.
@@touristguy87 bro you have over 100 comments of straight hate on this channel lmao, get a life and stop obsessing over other people’s 😂 talking about spam 💀
I love the fact that you guys just won a tough match that Garrett was nervous about in the beginning. Grant kept you guys in the match and those last 2 putts were just a thing of beauty. After the win you guys looked so humbled by the entire process, this is why we love this content.
wow, jackson is amazing and I did not recognize byrd with the beard. But, you might beat them in a scramble, but you put a couple bucks on the line and that pro is taking your money all day.
Garrett, you should have 3 simple, but meaningful, questions loaded and at the ready that you can ask your higher-profile guests. It will help elevate your videos, add some needed polish, and also give the guest an opportunity to introduce or share a part of themselves with your audience. Questions can be very basic, like "tell us a little about yourself" or "tell us about this course." Yes, the audience is here to see their (and your) game, but they also want to know about the guest. On the fly questions are fine, but some pre-conceived questions would be good, too. You should also have locked and loaded a small factoid about the person for intros (which you kind of did): We are here today with 5-time pga tour pro winner, Jonathan Byrd. For those of you who don't know, Jonathan has been on the tour since 2000 and most recently won the Web.com tour championship in 2017, where he won by 4 strokes. One of his most memorable wins came when he .... HIO. Jonathan, how are you feeling today / about your chances / etc.?
I just happened upon a GG video a few months ago and have been hooked ever since. Just watching your videos and the positive energy y'all put out has given me a whole new outlook on golf and helped me to not only improve my game but also my attitude while playing. Y'all have inspired me to be better and do better in golf and in life and I thank you for it and can't wait to see what the future holds for all of you, keep doing what you do!
Played with J-Byrd back in college when I had Mike Bender as my coach and so did Jonathan. He's a class act and a great ball striker. I kept up with him till he went 5 under on last 6 with 6 one putts... Not the longest but his ball flight is very consistent always a little push draw. Cool video guys
Johnathon is the best guy and such a inspiration representing the tour. He gave tips to these guys that would probably would not have won without those lessons. Humility is part of what the game is about and Mr. Byrd is a leader there as well.
By far the best golf channel on the tube. I learn a lot from watching Grant’s swing. Loved watching Father and son play. Jackson is being groomed to follow in his father’s footsteps. Thanks for all the great content.
What a match. Grant is one of the best I've ever seen off the tee. Always piping it at the candy cane. What a couple of bombs made putting Garrett! So fun to watch.
I enjoy these videos so much! Thank you for all the hard work to make these available online. I feel like I’m part of the family when i watch these. It’s like a sitcom with characters. So awesome!
Honestly my favorite thing is your guys humility and respect for others, I truly hope the younger generation really picks up on those wonderful traits. Jonathan and his son are really good golfers no doubt but better people, God Bless
You're an inspiration, boys! Maintaining diligence and appreciation for the opportunity in every moment, it's not hard to see an exciting and bright future ahead! Always a pleasure to watch. Great work!
I love watching these videos, I have so much confidence if no one is in the fairway, Grant is “getting the job done that way.” Then, Garret is always dialed with the wedge shots! Great content!
What a match, you guys are really good together. You know each others game so well and you actually inspire each other (and others) and have turned around situations, not just here. That really was awesome golf, you are the GGs 🙏
Man I remember watching a video about you considering NCAA golf back in the day. Glad you stuck with your instinct and it paid off well. The channel is really amazing. Once in a while we have to look back, see how the journey has shaped us
WOW, great playing Grant & Garret, what a big victory, well done! I remember very well when Jonathan Byrd made the hole in one, in the dark, to win the at the Shriners Tournament! BTW - Rumor has it that Bradley is the long lost brother of Ryder Cup team member Daniel Berger.
Shoutout Tony Noodle for saying it first, but this video is indeed an Instant Classic. In fact it might be the best/most impressive golf video I've ever seen alongside the 3v3 at Payne's valley. You boys are playing EXCEPTIONAL golf at the moment at the vibes, banter and positivity are off the charts. Then you add in the near hollywood production quality and just as I've said before this channel is producing hands down the greatest golf content RU-vid has ever seen and it's not even close. Thank you dudes so much
Enjoyed the match! The Pro's kid can smash the golf ball!!! Looking forward to see him on the PGA tour one day! Enjoy the Good Good guys play an honest round and love seeing the Pro giving good honest advice to help the younger generation in their game.
I’ve been watching GM Golf since it’s start and I gotta tell u these guys are just awesome! Super cool humble they don’t curse they play great golf and have awesome guests and always interesting matches!! Love you guys!! I still want that darn white and green good good hat that’s not on this catalog anymore please rerelease it!!)))
Fire content. Friggin loved watching this. You all played insane golf. I've said it before and i'll say it again, Garrett is up there as one of the best youtube golfers. #LETSGOOOOOO
Awesome to see Johnathan bird being such an amazing person. His son is also very humble young man with great talent. Great job guys. I enjoyed watching!!! Thank you
