To be fair, I used to have a messy knife drawer and it used to scare the hell out of me because every time I reached for a knife, I thought my fingers were gonna get nicked or sliced by a random knife. I eventually got a drawer tray and sorted out the knives.
I lolled when the knife drawer was opened. Every drawer is a disorganized mess until you opened the knife drawer and there knives were immaculately placed. You can tell what Jun loves.
Now's the perfect time for some big home cleaning projects!! Do recommend. But only for some days of the week. Because now is also the perfect time for binging shows and playing the FFVII Remake. Or whatever else people do with their lives, if there is anything else. I can't remember anymore.
Michael Starbuck 2 days ago I tore apart one room in the apartment to try and re organize it. In the process of making things better, it got drastically worse. And now I’m too overwhelmed to sit down and finish what I’ve started. So now I’m watching this 🤣
Omg I cleaned & organized my family’s kitchen... Wasn’t too bad but time flies so fast. Thought I took and hour or so. When I looked at the time, it was actually 3 hours & 26 minutes. By then I was too lazy/tired to cook myself something to eat. So I settled with chips & cranberry juice. Never again.
One day you will, I started to transformed and organized my room after watching many organizing videos. It just inspired me to start imagining how my room should look like
Me n husband: carry 100lb appliance into living room Kitty: walks through, adorably sits smack middle of 2.5 feet doorway into living room(no other way in) Me: “excuse me kitty” dying from heaviness Kitty: stares with wide innocent eyes and cocks head to right Me: “pleeezze kitty move” waves kitty away with foot still struggling Hub: groaning Kitty: gets up, walks a 4 inch diameter circle returns to same spot, Stares with innocent wide eyes, amazed Hub and me: “NO GET OUT OF THE WAY!” Me: trying to walk over not-helpful-kitty hoping she doesn’t move and I accidentally step on her Kitty:still in doorway moves head around to watch us struggle with her innocent wide eyes and finally place heavy appliance into room... comes over to appliance and takes over territory. Acts adorable.
My dog sneezes quite a bit and I ALWAYS say bless you, and as for my cats I always say in the most polite way ma’am would you mind just scooching over just a weee bit so I can lay comfortably

They also had a glass container with brown rice in to so all of it got condensed into that container

I promise I wasn’t frustrated and Jun wasn’t in trouble, haha. I like organizing and was excited to do the kitchen, but I also think stashing bags of nuts in random drawers and then forgetting about it is definitely something that deserves a little ribbing

It really is amazing how talented and smart Jun is, but at the same time extremely dense and not fully understanding Rachel's frustration or even knowing how frustrated she is.
And also asking to be not judjed for wearing her wonderful pijama for 3 or more days (in lockdown I think everyone wears a pijama more than one day 😂). Rachel we love you both and your pj is adorable 💙💛 so feel free to be yourself!
It’s nice that R. helped out in organizing the kitchen even tho she doesn’t know how to cook or name most kitchen utensils. Cooking is an Art that is only appreciated by people with much taste 😉

I rarely look at dates on food. Maybe for dairy stuff and meat I'm more careful but mostly it's just "does it look or smell okay? If so I'll use it". I'm cooking for myself so if I use something that makes just me ill, it doesn't really matter. If I was cooking for someone else I'd be more careful too. I've had some questionable cooked and sliced chicken and although the texture was a bit off, it was fine.

@@MissPoplarLeaf 1) I'm getting the impression they're just using "ADD moment" as a quip for getting distracted (....Though a lot of this definitely feels relatable) 2) ADD and ADHD are the same. They used to list them as separate disorders, but a lot of people fell somewhere between the two and at times didn't meet the diagnostic criteria for either as a result. Also, it happens by the same mechanism, etc, so merging them together was a good move.
I do love the fact that the kitchen has SO MANY DRAWERS, even mysterious, hidden ones, down side is that you hoard a looooot of things unconsciously, but like, one can also be organized and that amount of saving space seems soooo convinient!

To be frank, I don't even know the difference between Midwest and Long Island accents/regional dialects. But what would you expect, for I'm not American nor live anywhere near the US?
My husband always knows when I get angry cause I adopt a Long Island accent as well. Despite being born in the south, I adopted the Anger=Long Island accent because of my mother.
