This is what works for me, I got the error message on my iPhone. I removed my sim card from my iPhone and inserted it into an android phone, then signed up on the android. After signing up on the android, I opened WhatsApp on my iPhone and signed up, so the verification code was sent to that android phone and I entered it to my iPhone and it worked. Hope this helps.
Nothing works, tried removing and reinstalling app, its 7 days now, as per support there is no ban on my number. Tried sim on another phone, tried with wifi, with data, tried with 1 sim only, nothing works, repeated it 100 times already. No calls, no sms, nothing comes.

This is same issue I’m facing right now,mine wasn’t because I changed my phone,I happened to switch my numbers 4days ago I don’t know why I’m facing it today,can you help me please
Yep! Same here. I've been doing this, uninstalling and reinstalling the WhatsApp and the business WhatsApp applications for three weeks in a row already! Nothing is working. Have you been able to resolve your issue? I've written to WhatsApp millions of times, they keep giving me the same stupid standard answers that are not helping any… 🙄🤯😥😳😵🤯🙄🙄
