Brought back memories of my horse, Joshua, who had ringbone. Found out he had ringbone 6 months after I bought him. If he had been sold to anyone else he would have either been ridden to death, sold on or put down. I had him for 12 years. When he eventually could not be ridden I took him for walks. Unfortunately whilst in his field in 2014 he slipped and broke his hind leg and had to be put down. So glad I gave him a lovely life with his friend, Sally, miss him so much. 🐎🐎🐎

Unfortunately this story happens in every country...even the rich horse loving ones...the most expensive horses come down to meat money if they can no longer do their job...we've rescued 3 exracer...all were in their thousands then were worthless when they could no longer race...all beautiful souls....😊🇬🇧

I know of 3 horses being neglected and abused but there owners refuse to sell them to me but cause they have access to shelter, food, and water I can't legally do anything but there shelter isn't clean and there's only 3 walls and there so call food source looks like shit and sadly the police, and animal rescue centers won't do anything and it breaks my heart seeing them like this.....I'm pretty sure lone has Cushings as well and a different one is extremly aggressive which most animals act aggressive cause there scared or abused......the way they are handle and treated makes me so devastated

Poor poor Bonnie. However life has to go on for everyone on this planet Such a sad story, however we all know that Bonnie was in the best care possible and that care is Tenerife horse rescue. Thank you everyone at your center for trying. Xx
