I joined a few weeks back and I love my brothers hard work. I am not a farmer, except when I was about 13 and I planted pinto beans and orca. The beans were excellent, but I didn't like the ocra. Saw Nicole's story and it broke my heart. Chet, my brother, you are an outstanding young man who has a great family and friends. Nicole is the example of Solomon's noble wife (Proverbs 31:10-31). Let me close with this thought: "Many women do noble things, but you (Nicole) surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a women who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate" (Pro. 31: 29-31).

Anchoring a pulley at the top and using an atv winch to lift the concave makes that job alot easier. There's another tube video showing how to.

Here’s what you do when the corn is a little damp. It’s a very technical fix and you might have to have your John Deere tech come out a help you get it set perfectly. You lower your ground speed and slow your head down so that the corn is not hitting the head so hard and it doesn’t shatter so much. Contact your local dealer with any questions.

Use super glue on that corn leaf scrape Eric, it'll keep it from opening up, seal it against infection and heal up fast.

Wow I am going to watch this video again and play a drinking game. Take a drink every time they say head. You have corn head,head land, head loss, speed head up, slow head down, head set, heading home,plugged head, slugged head, heading at each other, etc.etc. That could be a fun game, the problem is with all the head talk I realized I don't have one of those cool hats to wear on my head. Eric; for your Corn Leaf Paper cut: Brush on a thick layer of Superglue. Do it once in the morning and once at bedtime. Superglue has been used for decades by surgeons and is 100% safe. -PapaP Dallas, TX. (gloves obviously help)
