There is nothing more precious than seeing a child being dedicated back to the Lord and having your families and church family there to support you with their love and prayers! My parents who were both Pastors always gave those little New Testaments and certificates of dedication to parents each time they did baby dedications as well but I absolutely love those little blocks with their names and life verses on them! What a special memento to hang on to give each girl as they leave home some day! May God continue to bless your family as you raise your family to love snd serve the Lord! You are such a blessing! My sweet Daddy who pastored for over 50 some years alongside my beautiful Momma who went to heaven three years ago this July is lying in a hospital bed dying and as I watch your vlogs I cannot help but wander back in my mind to my amazing heritage and being raised the way your girls are being raised to love the Lord and to be an example of his love to others!❤️

Dedicating children to God is acknowledging their his, and for His protection and guidance over their lives. It's a beautiful ceremony and y'all brought tears to my eyes when you were explaining. My parents didn't do the baby dedication but my mama would tell me that church was the first place that she took me whenever I was taken somewhere.

If I may be nosy I'd like to know what the verses are you picked for your children. I could not tell from the video what the blocks said. My son and his wife dedicated two of their three girls as well. The third child was born during the pandemic shut down so while they are , as of recently, back at church I do not know if they have dedicated her yet. The outfits were beautiful.

The bible says that we should teach them up in the way they should go and they will both depart from it!!!!

Baby dedications are so special! My church hasn't had one since pre-covid, and now that we're in lockdown again, it'll keep on waiting. Once we do have one, there'll be some 2 year olds I think........but it's never too late. It's always good to renew that too as the kids get older and the letting-go-letting-God becomes more real

We had our children dedicated many years ago and our grandson was just dedicated on Mothers day! I have always felt it was such a privilege to be part of a loving church family. In our church, as we dedicate ourselves to raising our children in church and God's will, our church family also commits to coming along side of our family and supporting our child as well as us as we are raising our kiddo. Great explanation, in my church we do a presentation, where after 40 days for Males and 80 days for Females, they are finally brought to church and they receive a special blessing and are brought to be dedicated to God, as parents we make a commitment to instill in them the love of God, and also thank God for protecting us during the process of pregnancy and labor.

As a Christian I believe baby dedications are very important. To dedicate you children to God. I dedicated my son when he was a newborn, hes 50 years old now. God has always kept His hand upon him always protected him from some dangerous things, but only for God!

I haven’t heard of baby dedication before until this video. What’s more amazing, you guys as parents have little pocket Bibles too! 💕 I grew up going to church, still to this day at 24, still trying to grow in my faith. I got baptized at 16 years old. What I liked about my parents decision, they wanted their kids (4 of us total, 3 girls and 1 boy) to make that decision ourselves when we were ready. Which is great because 2 of us are baptized and 2 aren’t ( because they aren’t ready) we range between 24-20 ! So all adults now.

I was born and raised in Italy and Christians are pretty much all Catholics there. We baptize babies and I had never heard of dedications before, I had to google it. Loved the matching dresses!
