Someone should make a lawnmower that takes grass clippings, juices them, and then used the juice like some buses use vegetable oil as fuel, and switch to gas when the grass oil runs out.

That's not far off. Grass can be fermented into silage and it, alongside sugar beet, slurry, and/or manure, can be fed into a Bio-Gas power plant to produce electricity as well as bio-methane as a niche fuel source.
