Although, right now, look at that Odyssey Rip. It is so graceful. Just think; Ethan and Edwin started with a Barbie Car and powered it with a one lunger four stroke bike engine. You guys PROVE evolution. You have advanced exponentially. Thank you for what you do and for letting us watch.
Nothing passed through the filter big enough to smash the spark plug like that. You either lost a rod, lost a piston or melted the head/piston. I’d like to see the carnage either way!
Last time I had a plug that looked like that the exhaust valve looked like the Cookie Monster had taken a bite out of it. Had these big white chunks on the plug that looked like rocks. Some sort of weird combustion stuff I guess.

Or... you destroyed a rod bearing and made enough play for the piston to just smack the plug. Wich if you had a tight squish clearance to start with... is definitely possibly
It'd be nice if they watered it a little. It's so dusty you couldn't do 2 laps. Seriously you'll get siliceous or whatever breathing in that crap. If that filter let in that much, imagine your lungs.

Cleaned and oiled air filters more suited to filtering out snow than dust, my guess is con rod bearing failure after it munched on some of the track for a while. Put on an awesome show before got indigestion. 🤘
Awesome, sad it's blown up, but, awesome. You could see the dust engulfing the motor in a lot of those shots. Great drone flying and footage. You guys are killing it
A CR500 transmission probably wouldn't be very happy with this job, let alone the fact it makes a 3rd the power of this engine and a quarter the torque.
@@reesewilliamson3346 the transmission would surely cope? wouldnt it? might be a bit hard on the clutch though, maybe need some stronger springs or something. otheriwse the transmission would be a massive upgrade over the current transmission. although the engine itself, while super powerful, would definitely be a downgrade from that 800cc 2 stroke monster.
@@socks2441 cr500 is nowhere near the potential of these sled engines, plus you can get a wrecked sled for $600 with a basically fresh engine. A 1000 triple sled engine can do 200 hp on regular gas.
Can't belive with all the knowledge and skills you guys have you overlooked proper filtration for the motor! Shame on you guys with such a easily avoidable problem
cool build and nice driving, also very good performance, but 50+ i don´t think so, this table jumps are more like 15-30 feet, so with a little bit of overjumping maybe 40 feet. don´t get me wrong, that is also very impressive for a 4 wheel vehicle. so come over to europe and take a stand in my mx sidecar and we can do some 50+.

This is wild, I had my grad party 2 weekends ago and we had the exact same problem with our newly made dirtbike track. All our bikes sucked in so much dust that they all (all 4 that were ran) had to be top end rebuilt by yours truly. Just finished rebuilding the last one today. I have never in my life had that problem, it must be this dry weather.
You guys need to find a Yamaha Raptor 700 engine to install on the Odyssey! Around 50HP stock, has reverse, and can be reliably built to over 75HP without power adders! The engines are torque monsters and parts are widely available. I think you would be very happy with the outcome!
I have asthma,and was going to comment about YOU 2 breathing all that dust.I think that filter tells you how much grit is cutting all the air sacks in your lungs,and settling in too.I can count to 14 out loud and be totally out of air.Do you want that when you hit 40?

Could you compress air and then feed that into the engine at normal atmospheric pressure and not have an intake exposed at all? Possibly pure oxygen at some kind of lower mix?
This bad boy could seriously benefit from a 5-6 speed motorbike gearbox with a speedshifter. Imagine going around corners while banging trough gears! that combined with quality built individual exhaust pipes... would look AND sound awesome :D
I suggest a snorkel style air cleaner mounted up top of the roll cage. Glade I watched this, I'll make mine like that so it is not back in a dust cloud trying to breathe. I scored an ody with a 600 Yamaha engine but all stock suspension. Going build a suspension like this but one step up. Mine will be based on rzr 1000 xp front/rear knuckles scored from ebay with custom front a arms and long travel rear like the ody in this vid. How would you use a 4wd knuckle on the front without 4wd? Easy just cut off the end of the stub axle right after the step that holds the bearings in. Insert, tighten and go. Easy parts availability for bearings and axles and easy to find rims plus monster disc brakes front/rear. See, like I said, "one step up" from the grind hard ody. Oh and the stock trans will be gone before it explodes into dust. I'll replace it with a legend dwarf car mini quick change center section from a circle track car. Yes, the engine will get turned side ways. Wraaap your mind around that haha.

Great video, but none of those jumps were even close to 50ft, unless the odyssey is 20ft long. With the farthest over jump it probably went 20-30ft. If you overshot far enough to go 50ft off one of those jumps you would have broke more than just the motor. Bring a tape next time, you'll be surprised.
When you guys rebuild the motor, cause no doubt you will😜, try an induvidual expansion chamber exhaust set up per cilinder !! It ‘ll lightn up that funky ole two stroker!!! Keep it up!!!
So much dirt being flung around from front wheels, I know peeps be hating....But what about a custom build set of front fenders that would block out the initial problem?? No need to be eating dirt all day long, Plus build sequence would be sick.
I have a suggestion for you build an air box basically behind the headrest of the seat and then have a snorkel come out the top of the roll bar where it sucks in fresh intake air also I think you should build a big enough air box to fit in a KN filter charger and then have it plumbed into the carburetor cuz I can see in this video when you're drifting around corners. Well... if you don't want to kill it, you should not be on the accelerator when landing. The wheels re going at a different speed then the car. The landing then takes away much of that speed in a split secund. It puts a big load on the drivechain and engine....
Maybe do something about those front mud guards. Looks like your front tires throw alot of dirt on the engine area. I'm having the same issue with dirt getting threw the filter. Good footage of what might be happening. 👍
Well said man everyone can be creative. My current modo is( creating is living ) being creative is what makes me feel valuable as a triple amputee its hard not to feel like a burden to everyone. Making things makes me feel valuable.
Time to take the supercharged motor out of the MG Cause that motor would be down right nasty in the oddesey plus it just makes sense to make it bigger cc and supercharged ohh yeahhh..🤙

It would really step up the drone footage if you could overlay the onboard vehicle engine sound. I can't believe someone hasn't come up with a drone motor sound remover/filter yet.
do you have the stock hand restraints? you should really be using them , i built one of these years ago and they go so fast that eventually you will barrel roll it so hard that your hands will come off the steering wheel and allow your arms to flop outside off the cage , you can imagine what happens next!!! saw it for real , it does really nasty things to your arms, hate to see it happen to you guys. it seems a little weird at first but the restraints limit how far your arms can travel and keep them within the cage

You should put a firewall between you and that radiator. If the radiator was to burst or have a leak you would have boiling hot fluid all over you. You guys would have some seriously bad burns from that.
Aye I’m lookin at the radiator setup I know you’re options are limited but if a line blew or were severed it would spray boiling hot coolant all over your neck and shoulders
