We start this episode by showing you how to apply a heat transfer vinyl design to a hoodie. After going over the materials we’ll be using, we demonstrate how to set up your HTV design using the SignMaster CUT+ARMS software. After that, we’ll show you how to use the Ricoma RCP-6301 25” Vinyl Cutter to cut your design before using the heat press to transfer the design onto the hoodie.
Once that’s done, we move on to the embroidery portion of the project. After digitizing our design using our industry-leading Chroma digitizing software, we'll teach you some helpful hooping tips to keep your hoodie extra sturdy during embroidery.
From there, we go over what speed to run your machine at to avoid shredding your vinyl during the embroidery process. Finally, we reveal our final product and examine how much profit you stand to make from a project like this.
