We haven't just been preparing for Rosies calf for the last couple weeks, we've been working hard to make sure Rosie is happy, healthy and set up for success to have a calf for over a year now. I'll be the first to admit that homestead is a BEAUTIFUL way of life, but it does have its hardships. When we lost Rosies calf back in January last year it hit us hard, but I know it hit Rosie harder. We promised to get her back to health and that's exactly what we did. This is the most active calf I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. He loves head rubs, a good drink of milk and being playful. Wish us luck as we start our Raw Milk Journey!
