Of course someone is going to react like this when listening to him expecting good lyrics. Love or hate him, he carved his own lane making music with hard beats, unique flows and delivery and insane energy and thats why he is so popular. No one wants to listen to him because hes good lyrically

Playboi Carti’s aesthetic is built around “mumble rap”. He’s an acquired taste but, surely draws in a cult like following with anyone who actually takes the time to hone in on his musical discography. Trust me! My first impression of Carti back inna 2018 ‘Die Lit’ era was very similar to a lot of the newer listeners today 😂 😂 I highly recommend overlooking his lyrical abilities at first & simply try’n get into a vibe with some of his music. nothing too serious! & Only THEN! the listener will start to appreciated his craft! 🤷idk that’s my opinion/take!? but, hate it or love it! Carti got the game on lock rn. Mfs just gotta get up to speed wit it.

Don't look for lyrics. It's vibe music. House, pop, jazz, punk rock, there's a bunch of genres where lyrics don't matter much, just an avenue to use voice as an instrument. Carti's Die Lit album is perfect example of this. Shut your brain off to the lyrics and just follow his voice
