Man, this is what is exhausting about modern culture, you can never drop the façade of facetiousness, you can never take life too seriously and you can never be earnest. The years will pass by and blur together and nothing much will have been said in this podcast, just idle talk.
Nick should have definetely checked if the ATM machine started working after Bryan said that cause if that happened it's either an insane coincedence...or everything he said was true.
Aidens outfit is getting more edge every episode, he's also interacting way more.. The time is finally upon us gentlemen, the paradigm is shifting, the renaissance of The Yard is upon us, with out glorious leader Aimen Gamin'.
The personality of the LAN center guy from Nick's story was totally giving me Anthony Jeselnik vibes. Maybe not the weird talking to himself behavior, but definitely the self-aggrandizing and smooth-talking part.
I knew exactly the add slime was talking about when he made those noises and I knew the girl aiden got catfished by before he even said her name bro I need fucking help
This was great, as a Canadian the thing that's best about timhorton's is the donuts and the timbits, they are so cheap and taste so fucking good. The coffee is terrible though.
My brother got got by this exact guy they’re talking about in Tennessee a couple months ago. Mercedes dubai guy all gucci claiming he’s broke down needed money bad to get home for his “kids”
How tf did that Yu-Gi-Oh Game work, there's been so many banlists and changes in rules during that time. Did they even have synchros??? How didn't they deck out???
I had a wordle where I got none on the first word and binked it on the second. No one believes that I did it legit…. I claim it was talent rather than luck

Great episode. It was a little odd when Ludwig an hour and fifteen minutes in stuck a spoon in his eye socket and called himself the Spoongler before eating his eyeball, but I will respect his commitment to the bit.
@@Subpar1224 cellar door is supposedly one of the most beautiful phrases in the English language. I have no idea why that is, but it’s brought up in Donnie Darko which nick has referenced a lot.
7 Months late, but the reason Bryan said to Nick "do you want to get stabbed in the eye?" when Nick asked him about tournaments is there was an incident at a Killer Instinct tournament where a guy jammed his fightstick into another guys face and he had to get surgery and lost an eye.
Obviously that guy on the street was pathological, but the Yugioh story has a small sliver of truth in it. The Yugioh format from 2010, which is called “Edison Format” has recently gained quite a bit popularity among Yugioh players that have nostalgia for it. There are tournaments being hosted online with over a hundred entrants. So it’s not really a “15 year long Yugioh tournament” as much as it’s a “tournament that recreates what Yugioh was like almost 15 years ago”
