About two weeks ago, we were hit with a balancing patch that saw a lot of weapons getting attention. The nerfs drove a number of Helldivers to get furious. It was sad to see at the time, but looking back at it, a community that puts so much effort into complaining is a community that cares about the game. This is a community of passion. Passion is sometimes toxic, but it always comes from a place of love.

Big corporations only care about money, and if simple "not technically lie" tweet save them a lot of money, they will do that. P.S. Snoy is restricted purchases before they do the tweet. 30 hours apart. And if you want to see Snoy true intentions, they added more countries to restriction list after tweet.

What is truly naive is we have confirmation from Sony that they're stepping back from their decision with Helldivers and yet you will hang on any conspiracy level theory of reasoning to be angry that players got what they wanted. Helldivers CEO already said the 3 countries added were an error on Valve's part. The reality of the situation if you've been paying attention is this: this move like this took 3 months to put into place, and it's going to take more than a week to fix it. If they decide to truly go back on their word, that's a reality I'm ready to accept, but I'm not gonna act like an asshole because it takes them longer than a week. Chillax and enjoy the music, they'll fix it or die trying.

I have never seen any community as powerful and strong as HD2, a community that unite strong enough to push back a corpo who is greed and known for being stubborn. I'm not in this community, but as the Observer who study sociology and (real world) democracy that also have friends enjoying this game, I am more than happy to see that, among the bleak of corporate greed, geopolitical mess, and democratic backsliding, we the people win some battle, a great one at that. Victory to Super Earth! Victory to All Helldivers! Be Vigilante, everyone, this is far from over.
