Thank you for this teaching, and encouragement. I’m hear today, a little over a year after a very unwanted divorce of over two decades . Still shattered, still reeling from the pain and agony of the process of the two that became one flesh and now the tearing of that one flesh. It is heart shattering for sure. And no, I don’t want to feel this pain. But I’m going through it with the Lords guidance, strength and peace. Choosing something other than the love of the Father to get me through this season, will temporarily make me feel comforted but in the end will still leave me empty. Blessings to all who find themselves in a painful valley. Hoping for better days for us all.

God's help through it (acknowledgingit hurts and what the truth is in Gods Word...not over it (acting as if it doesn't hurt...Netflix, sleeping around, etc.) The appeal of idolatry is convenience...God doesn't work in our timing...place your hope in God by building up your roledex/ God's Word in your mind and heart through prayer and reading, meditating...putting yourself in community w/ other believers...God's deliverance in degrees...may happen slowly. It's demonic to believe there's no hope with our God who was raised from the dead...Only the devil will lead you to believe there's no hope after the resurrection...Resurrection has no power w/ out death...We need to endure in the waiting in the suffering...the hope that in Christ that death leads to resurrection. The death of our idols, of our hard situations...the death of choosing earthky idols in Gods place to numb and heal..and rge resurrection of putting God in that place and watch Him over flow it...identify your needs, find in scripture where God met similar needs and ask God for the faith to believe that He can do better than what world has to offer...
