The threat in the letter is implied. They are going to (indirectly) use international law. Specifically they are going to you copyright law to cause copyright strikes with you tube, which I suspect can get your channel shut down at least temproarily if you get 3 strikes. So if you have 3 pieces of video that arguably could be Candian crown copyright (I havent see the video) then they can issue 3 copy right strikes over a oeriof of time and get the channel shutdown. And it being a govenrment who control the population of Canana you tube will likely shut you downm because that is a lot of ad revenue to lose if Canada messes with your tube's applecart. They don't need to satisfy US, Canadian or an international court - they just need to convince some dude at you tube that it might be a. oopyright issue.

Thing is tho, that original podcast that was up, Dallas did reveal some sensitive information in regards to JTF-2, he revealed how the selection process goes and what you do during selection and Assaulter Course. Which is something that isn’t made public by Canadian Special Operations Forces Command. Even regular members of the Canadian Armed Forces doesn’t know what exactly is in selection and the Assaulter course. (Unless they are close buddies with a member of JTF2)

No such thing as sensitivity training back in 2010. We did how ever have to represent our country In a manner and light that was strong, detailed and honorable. His missus is official spokesperson for The Shield of Athena (who makes these names up?!) which helps women dealing with domestic abuse (for such a polite people there’s a lot of abuse appeared in Canada?! Very sorry to hear about your struggles to get your son back. My parents were drug addicts and my grandparents had to go to court for custody of me and my sister. My dad got clean and was doing great for 5yrs until he got cancer and passed away at 36yrs old. My mom didn’t want anything to do with us. She did pop in and out of our lives a couple times but had to put a stop to it cause she was high. I really hope you find your son and get him back. There mom should be in prison for what she did to you and your boy and he will know you did everything you could to get him back. Your in my prayers

No offence, but there's a ton of SAS stuff out there that was released by operators. Books, videos, interviews, etc. The rules are quite similar, as are NDAs. I was a little surprised by Dallas' disclosures myself, knowing how information about JTF2 is coveted quite extensively inside the CAF itself. They have managed to very successfully maintain a significant level of secrecy. In the CAF there is a culture of relative quietness about military information and it may have to do with our country's culture as a whole, and our small size. The public is not as knowledgeable about its military and fewer people have served. So the CAF is more insular. A lot more 'command and control' over info and OPSEC. I saw a lot of discomfort in Dallas' body language during the interview, squirming in his seat before talking about certain subjects. I was squirming with him...I felt as if he knew he was going outside the wire. He's clearly pissed off, right or wrong, and feels it needs to be said. He also appears to be ready to accept the consequences as well. Hope they don't come down on him too hard, but like in the 90's, when the Liberals are in, they like to hang the soldiers out to dry so the politicians don't look bad. Airborne.

Ya, I liked the podcast, I saw the original when it came out but I do question the narrative shawn is painting that says CANSOF sent the cease and desist on the basis that Dallas talks about getting fired because of the Jab. You can feel one way or another about it and many do. I don't think anybody should have been fired or forced, to take it and maybe members who were fired should be compensated for it but I also don't think it was some big secret that Military members were leaving or being released for refusing the jab? It was/is happening in multiple countries across NATO including the US( who I believe also lost a ton of guys). I think it's even been debated in our parliament previously. Info about JTF is already scarce even within the CAF. At most you'll maybe see 1 or 2 recruitment posters and that one promotional video that is almost a decade old. I was surprised when shawn showed actual footage of the operation/shot on the podcast, I don't think most people in the CAF let alone the general public have seen that footage. I was quite surprised they even had footage to show. According to Dallas he had the go ahead to be on the podcast but I do wonder if JTF2 also knew about the video? I hope Dallas comes out completely unscathed but as far as the letter then cease and desist notice sent to shawn I wonder if any other countries SF unit would react differently or the same. I mean, People knew about JTF2 but I don't think the government even officially acknowledged the unit existed until around 2012.
