Norn calling out Roxy like that is probably what kept the family together, Sylphie probably wouldn't do it and would have stewed over it (even if she didn't want to, and wasn't consciously aware of it). After Norn went off she was able to move past those feelings and accept Roxy. Also damn did her VA go OFF.
Maybe but I have my doubts. It's not like Sylphie didn't know about Roxy from Rudeus either. She isn't a Millis believer either. If anything the real worry is most likely her being left behind for Roxy, but that didn't happen. Norn feels more like she's projecting on Sylphie as a Millis believer, than someone who actually knows her. And note that prior to this, Sylphie was ensured by her grandma herself that Rudy loves her.
The chapter in the LN of when Norn's bars were spat was titled "Carnage". I think that's an appropriate title for Norn's diss track towards Roxy and Rudy. Finally hearing her speak those hits different than reading thru it, but the feeling of "oh... OH... WHOAAA!!" in every bar she made was still the same. Truly an icon. Edit: 17:29 In the LN during this conversation, Sylphie added in that she was actually expecting Rudy to bring someone among Pursena, Linia, and Nanahoshi, as she knew she couldn't please Rudy until she gave birth. Also describing to Roxy that they all have beeg boobas and sexy bods compared to them so she was extremely worried, especially since she was already jealous of those three women due to how close they are to Rudy even before they got married. Her calmness here implies that she simulated such an event in her head multiple times beforehand.
if Eris was the first wife then she would do the same as Sylphy, remember that Eris really loves her grandfather and we know that her grandfather also does perverted things. The reason why Sylphy accepted Roxy was because Sylphy grew up in a greyrat family, and she knew very well Paul Zenith and Lilia's condition. I've heard we're about half-way through the novels, supposedly, so I guess some 2 or so more seasons are needed to resolve the Princess Ariel issues, the Millis Church issues (the rival religious factions one of whom supports Cliff, the other the girl Eris saved), the origin of the golem and the Zanoba/Rudy plan to mass produce moving dolls, why Rudy and Nanohoshi arrived and the man-god/orstead conflict, what's going on with Perugias and the flying island, and what happens with Eris (and Ghislaine), Zenith's recovery or not, and why she ended up in the crystal (if it's not just some special hydra power), and who Nanohoshi's mystery friend beside Orstead was if she can get back to Japan.
18:25 not saying that Sylphie deserves to be cheated or anything like that but... Rudeus taught her magic which is something that saved her life and allowed her to become what she is today. Rudeus deserves a reward for his good deeds, and the reality is that Rudeus is the greatest dude around, powerful, clever, and empathetic, to be honest even with him having multiple wives Sylphie is getting the best deal for most girls. I'm not saying that Rudy didn't need to get chewed out but i wish it didn't come from Norn because Rudy cheating isn't her business, and her outburst made her look like a hypocrite and an idiot
Norn is Rudy's sister and is living with him. Plus he did it right after Paul died, so I don't think it's right to say that it isn't her business. Also I don't think liking Paul and being against having a second wife makes you a hypocrite.
Rudy was the one that wanted them present anyway. He wanted them present to air out any grievances instead of leading to a potential situation where the family splits apart (which is likely what would have happened if Norn didn't say all of that since Sylphie would have likely kept quiet and just accepted it otherwise).
I have no idea what is in the LNs so this is only my headcanon way to bring in Eris. She cold come back with her own little offspring from that faithful night in the tent with Rudy. That would be an interesting spin. The warrior single mother's return...
I've seen too many be hard on Rudy. They tend to overlook what could have happened. If Rudy didn't go there and did what he did. Paul was running himself into the ground. It was shown that, when Rudy first met up with him. Most likely he would have gotten himself killed. Roxy would have been dead, since Rudy wasn't there to rescue her from the dungeon trap. Most likely the other party members would have died as well. Since they would have been with Paul at the time. Plus there's that book Rudy brought as well. Which helped them figure out a path, to their target end goal. When it would have taken much much longer, to navigate that dangerous dungeon.
Nah Roxy chose to be married only after Sylphy gives birth so Sylphy is the designated first wife. She gave birth to an heir before Roxy got married. Im sure it doesnt matter and Rudy will treat them all equally (in bed). But its something Roxy probably wanted as a sort of sign of respect to sylphy
Translation Error in Anime. Rudy's Daughter name is Lucy not Lucie. But i get it with the translator why they did it. Since Rudeus and Sylphie Instead of Rudeus and Sylphy.
@@idoodooo3988 They said the merge the 2 first and last letters of their names Lucie Lu (Ludeus wich is how his name is pronounced in JP) ie (From Sylphie.) The C is just a letter needed to don't have 3 Vocals straight in the name. Imagine Luie. That sounds so cursed. Then her name is Lucie. And just to make it clear. Even with the Sylphy you have the same problem. From Sylphy you only take the Y. And you have also a contradiction because Rudeus said "Whe took 2 letters of our names" but Y is... You know, just 1
Don't take me wrong it's just my opinion, I like when you pause the video and explain and make funny but in recent videos I think you are pausing way too much and making it long, I'm not telling to change or anything it's just my opinion. I still like to see your videos but it's getting a bit much that's all.
