This looks so beautiful! Did you both use a wedding planner or did you do it yourselves? My fiancé and I would love to elope in Tuscany but we are struggling with how to do it!

We did it all ourselves! We made it extremely simple to reduce stress. No one was invited except our wedding photographer. We just got ready by ourselves, booked a nice place to stay, told them we were going to elope on the property and they provided us with a bouquet and surprised us with a bottle of champagne! We did our first look, vows and then had a multi course dinner and called it a night :)

@@violetsdigest that sounds perfect! That's all we want to do to be honest. We are finding it difficult as everywhere is costing us a fortune! Wedding planners charge through the roof too.

May I ask how complicated the process was? I'm engaged and looking to maybe eloping in Italy but after calling the embassy and looking at the process online, it almost seems impossibly complicated. Like you need translators for everything and there could be delays with the paper work and it varies on city.. 😵‍💫 How was it for yall?

It’s very complicated in my opinion bc u need an affidavit. What I did was just signed papers at my local domestic courthouse and then did symbolic vows and “ceremony” abroad to simplify it. Worth it!

The front lawn! Lupaia is the name of the hotel in Montepulciano
