@@jakebayne well they hardly every play in tournaments like normal folks. they'll play scrambles against eachother, but it's a different mindset playing at a charity tournament with mulligans and things like that.
The vibes with this team!!!! G-rat's shot on 18, Steve's drives all day, Shayler(spelling?) playing like a beast, i mean, freakin' legendary!!! Best of luck on the next nine, everyone!
Steve has the most interesting preshot routine. It’s pulling the club out of the bag and then hitting the shot. He barely takes time to set his feet. Fastest draw in the west. Great video. It will be interesting to see the finish. Hope it comes out very quickly.
Facts I been said if any of Tig , Grant or G could actually push to turn legit PGA level pro golfer , it's G and not close , he just has that it factor and elite areas of his game with some elite abilities that the others do not , however he would have to go full out push to be pro which means no GG and GM time and coaching and full time pro caddy but I really believe he could do it and even win events on the PGA tour. I just do not see that with Tig or Grant and tig has pushed and Grant had way more college training and help , G has not done either.
@@elig4056 G could do really well in minitours/possibly get on the KFT but if you think he’s winning on the PGA Tour youre dreaming. he has yet to break 65 and Jack Nicklaus said if you can count the amount of times you shot 65 or under youre not winning on tour. sure, he could beat a pga tour pro on his good day and their bad day, but he would get smoked by the field over 2-4 rounds. G’s handicap is around a +3/4 low level Pga tour pros are at least +6 and the guys at the top are around +10. he’d likely be back 20-25 strokes no matter the event
@@oozieneinmillimeeda thats not what I said though , I am saying if he really had dedicated his time to pure PGA level golf since he was a child and pushed for it or even now if he was 100 % of his time spent on real no b.s. golf with proper ppl helping him he still have a chance in a few years , I have no doubt in my mind he has that special ability to become that and I do not see tig or Grant with that same special ability. I think G has proven it just with what he did on a trick shot level , dude spent a few years doing them and was on ESPN.
@@elig4056 it still wouldnt happen. getting trick shots on espn doesnt equate to winning on the pga tour. I don’t think you understand how much better a pga tour pro is than a scratch golfer. guys on the pga tour were shooting in the low 60s since they were kids and they break 65 very frequently. could G string together a couple great rounds to make a monday qualifier if he put all his focus into tourney golf? absolutely. but winning is a completely different story. he’d have to tie or break his best round ever 3 out of 4 days without collapsing, and that wouldnt even guarantee a win. not to mention his best rounds were at courses that arent even close to as hard as a pga tour course setup. not trying to hate on G im just stating facts and he would 110% agree with me
@@oozieneinmillimeeda I disagree , the ESPN is just a reflection of being great at something he set his time to seriously goofing around , does not matter now we will never know csuse time flies and he lost prob to many valuable years but I still would not bet against him if he did set his mind 100% to it , you deff have way more chance of being right then me cause we talking pro sports potential lol lottery odds or worse even but I just see that kind of special talent in G if he had taken that path where I do not in Tig or Grant. We just habe to agree to disagree.
Konner - great tourney for Hanks Hommies!! Love seeing it on the big screen with the Good Good crew. My hope next time Garrett will post some info about the charity and all that it’s doing to help teach the game of golf to kids with special needs. Great to have them support a great cause!!!
I literally have this argument every scramble…you don’t use mulligans on putts unless you are 12’ or shorter. If you hit it closer from the fairway you have helped the whole team with a closer putt. If you burn mulligans on 20fters you help no one unless you make it.
The amount that Steve's game has improved over the past year is pretty impressive. Fun round. You haven't mentioned the charity yet and I'm halfway through, is it a secret?
I was just saying how you guys should play on random people's charity golf scramble teams and film it. You could start with the one I'm playing in on May 22nd in Findlay, OH for the City Mission Of Findlay haha.
While ago I brought up a match between Ryder and shaylor. Ryder seems to be a natural athlete who learns quickly, but he wouldn’t be competition for shaylor. That d1 golf showed in this round.
