I love love love the fun fact about you two in the beginning of the video...so funny. That port looks so nice. I love a swim up pool bar. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing.
Great video. As always love your enthusiasm. We have had many wonderful days by that pool! The dolphin pool is so small-it makes me so sad they have to live in that environment
This was very helpful! I normally leave the kids on the boat for port days because the excursions are so expensive , I will definitely bring the kids here! Pocket friendly lol we go next month on Adventure of the Seas!
Thanks chaps. The port does look rather nice, but it's all somewhat artificial, like a Mexican theme park or holiday village, which I suppose is what it's been designed to be. Did you not consider going into town? The cruise I'm planing to book will be docked there from 8:00 - 17:00. So I hope to be able to visit the Museum of Mayan Culture and also look around Chetumel.
Thank you so much for making this video! We watched it before our cruise last week with our one year old and four year old. It was the first time cruising with them, so we didn't want to commit to any 4-5 hour excursions. The only time we got off the ship was to go to the pool you talk about, and it was perfect! We brought our own drinks from the ship, enjoyed the pool for a couple hours, and went back. It was an easy walk, no fuss (from the kids), and absolutely free! It was perfect, thanks again!
We plan to take a cab to Krazy Lobster and spend the day eating and drinking on their beautiful beach. No charge for chairs/umbrellas. Beachside massages! Can't wait.
Great video. Would love to watch videos or more comments on your visit to Italy. Comments on each specific place you visited, how's crowded, place to eat etc. Will help your fans many may be thinking of doing a visit to Italy cruise.
Great video thanks, brought back pre covid memories of this port. BTW you used to be able to sit on the pool loungers for free as long as you buy a drink.
#Replay... I LOVED this video! It was so fun & fresh, it looks like a show on the Travel channel🤩 I like the fun facts, tips & getting right to the point. I've been to Costa Maya twice & have not seen Flamingos😕🦩🦩 Hope you do more videos like this🥰 Thank you for sharing!
It looks beautiful. I was in Costa Maya about 15 years ago, when the port was still relatively new. It did not look anything like that. It was just a multitude of grass huts. I love that they have grown and put so much into the area. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you showed Jordan in the water. Normally it seems one is recording and the other is in front of them always getting some form of body shot. At the pool I wondered if you two wore speedos especially when I did not see the other one in front of the Camera. But alas I saw Jordan.
My wife Candice, and I are heading on our first ever cruise, first ever vacation together, and are heading on the Carnival Valor out of New Orleans to Costa Maya.. We want to see jungle/pyramids while there and are researching which excursion we should purchase. We came across your channel here, and wanted to ask you which of the excursions would you personally recommend after hindsight? -Nick
Hey there! We have yet to go ourselves but know that it’s about an hour drive each way so 2 hours drive to the Maya Ruins. We have heard from some that the drive is longer than the actual stay at the ruins so it’s just important to have the knowledge ahead of time. Check out Viator for additional excursion options as well!
We didn’t because we had our bags in reach/site the whole time. That said, you don’t have to bring your passport to the port area so we would probably recommend leaving it for this type of day next time. Whenever we go out on an excursion past the port area, we always take our passport in case something happens and we can’t make it back to the ship. That has yet to ever happen, but it’s more of a security blanket for us at this point. 😉
