After Amazing Grace, this song is my most favorite that he does because of some of the reasons you stated-his Tenor tones, rock voice to softer, in addition to that beautiful vibrato at the end of each phrase, and that joy he showed singing this beautiful song ❤
I love this - it's one of my favorites when I'm in the mood for just flat-out great singing, with lots of smiles and Dan energy. I agree, it seems that this song was written for Dan. Terrific reaction, thanks. The guitars and other instruments were by Garrett Peters, BTW, who collaborated with Dan on the new My Heart Will Go On.
Love his barely perceptible nod to his audience at the end during the fade out. Dan is a classy guy & the best singer to come along in a very long time.
Awesome reaction! One of my favorites! (I only have a hundred or so favorites from him. LOL!) He does "The Last Journey Home" (He put this up on the 10th anniversary of his YT channel), "Starfire", and "Tears of a Dragon" (featuring Victor). "Cry Thunder" is from almost 10 years ago (but very good). And then you have what started it all - his DragonForce Singer audition video from 2010. He then took vocal lessons and remade the singer audition to show how much he had improved. Yeah, I fell hard in this rabbit hole. HAIL VASC NATION!
Nice reaction! On a livestream (can't remember which one because I watch so many), Dan said he didn't get why people live this one so much because he "didn't do anything special; I just sang it." Just shows that he doesn't have to do anything "special" to a song to make it special. I also heard that Herman Li, the founding member of DragonForce, said that Dan sang this one even almost better than DragonForce's own lead singer did. High praise indeed! DragonForce is a great band!
I think that’s funny because if you go back to Dan’s very first video he was auditioning for a position in the DragonForce band. What a long way he’s come since then.
Dan kept it close this shows his comfort zone this man just strikes gold everytime we know he the master and by the way the line for Dan is out the door around the block great reaction both of yall and this is the one I’ve been wanting yall to watch 👍🔥
There are a number of songs I haven’t heard in Dan’s repertoire but after hearing his version, I don’t even feel the need to listen to the originals. Thanks for your reaction to Dan the musical genius❤
❤ another great video. Love this. Dan really enjoys these songs. And he puts his touch to it... I feel it is better than the original. Thank you for Dan Vasc Tuesdays. Love seeing people react to our Dan.... ❤❤
This is my song to wake up in the morning and get out of bed full of energy and faith, ready to fix the world! 🤩 Ok, I'll tell you something new: Daniel's version is better than the original. 🤣 He separete the vocals from the guitars and allowed us to hear them both more clearly. His voice "gliding" within an immense range, totally clear and clean... almost "romantic".🥹 Seriously... when I hear this version I feel like a Rohirrin knight riding quickly across the plain - wind in my face, hair flying, eyes in the Light and certainty in my heart that I'm doing the right thing - going to help Gondor. 🤷🏻♀️ Fear of nothing and gratitude for the victory that will certainly come... Thank you very much for your reaction. Hugs from Curitiba - Brazil 🇧🇷
You two did another great reaction video! Thank you so much for all you are doing! It is really great when people just see a song that Dan has done and they KNOW it is going to be a fabulous before they even hear it….that is awesome! 💥👏🔥😁 You two are amazing! Have a wonderful evening! Love and blessings! 🤗❤️
I'm a Dan Vasc fan and 'm a DragonForce fan, however Dan has a much better voice than the lead singer from DragonForce! You should listen to DragonForce just to hear/watch Herman Li on guitar, he is just amazing! If you want to check out DragonForce try Cry Thunder.
Absolutely majestic. Dan 's voice fits this song so perfectly. I loved this beautiful and mesmerizing rendition. Thanks once again for your awesome reaction .
The guitarist/bass player/drummer (plus some of the mixing) in this song is Garrett Peters, the same guitarist that played on “My Heart Will Go On”. He also worked with Dan on the song “Carry On”, a tribute to André Matos, learning & recording his part in a short amount of time to help get the song released as quickly as possible. We will see him again since he’s working with Dan & Rippa on something.
