Here’s a new perspective: When Amy is hanging from the building about to fall, notice that when he tries to pull her up from the ledge, she is pulling AGAINST him. She doesn’t want to be saved. She keeps resisting until she is free to fall. My 20 yr old son was listening to Evanescence in the womb. I still listen to their music and he knows all the lyrics. Both my kids listen to a wide range of music and nothing makes me happier. We all share new music. You never know what could be playing in our house. Check out their song, "Hello". It's a really haunting song about the death of her 3 year old sister, and not understanding or accepting her loss for a while. It's the only song that they have never played live because it is still too personal for her to sing it.
