Don’t let them get to you ! The word “racist” means nothing anymore when they throw that word around to describe anything you say that they don’t like. It keeps getting worse. I lost my job a few weeks ago after calling my employee out on an “equity “ training that was so unbelievably anti Christian, anti heterosexual, and anti white that I had to say it was wrong to classify people based on their race and personal beliefs. 9 years of employment down the tube ! I don’t regret standing up to them. I can say I stood up to the mob and took their wrath. Would rather do that than put my head down and keep quiet. Keep being that “Lioness” and roar !!!!!! The names they call us are just badges of honor ! They are the racist and bigots

When I was growing up in my grade school years, my father was an entertainer in a small town and a professional Santa Clause. He was born in 1926 and he Hated the 60's music and fashion, so he made me wear clothes that were modest when all the girls were wearing miniskirts and I was an outcast and called many names. This had nothing to do with racism of any kind. It wasn't until I grew up and realized exactly what Tom was talking about. I went through a whole period of self-doubt over that, but I got over it. People have been doing the blast your name bit forever, but it's how we understand that they are in their own world of hate and denial, and it has nothing to do with you at all

When asked about my political affiliation. I always used to answer neither, somewhere in the middle but probably leaning left. Seems with recent times and added knowledge. I probably lean closer to the right. I have lost friends over that slight shift in beliefs. At first it bothered me. Then I realised at some point. The truth is worth whatever cost. And even though I may miss things I have lost at times. I appreciate what I have gain constantly. Keep grinding.

That was another great reaction. Our 13-year-old granddaughter was being bullied by her fellow classmates. So, for this last Christmas, we bought her the hoodie outfit Tom was wearing in the video. As someone who was bullied a lot in high school this hits for me. I grew up one the motto “sticks and stones.” When he says “your sticks and stones might break my bones but your words won’t, so give me your worst” I flipping lost it. Was crying like a dang baby. Was called nasty things in high school. Told I would never succeed, told I was worthless, lazy, skinny, really messed with my head a lot. Now when someone calls me a name I just don’t give them the satisfaction of knowing it got to me. Mostly because I’ve learn to let it go, and I just keep going, cause at the end of the day it’s a name and what’s the point of getting mad over a name!

I feel ya! The type of content you guys are checking out is the kind of things that I’ve been learning and following for 40+ years. I’ve been called all these names and then some, but I never wavered because I knew the truth. And like you said, you have to know who you are and your heart has to be in the right place. Love your content and always stay true to yourselves and remember that when you break free from the "mob mentality" the mob will surely come after you. Don’t let those people keep you from your journey. It’s sad that you can’t have difference of opinion or views than someone else. I miss the old days of where you could disagree with their opinion and still be their friend.
