Congrats on the taxi bill, the one bill you never mind paying. I agree with your (well kind of) questioning deer not dying when shot. I shot (double lunged) a few deer early on with the .243 and they ran away never to be found. This game is so realistic and full of detail, unfortunately non of it is explained. How long is a deer's life cycle? Real time or game time? At what rate does a young 2 star mature? The games encyclopedia gives the very basics, but no explaining how things work. Thank goodness for people like yourself who are fully diving into the game and giving us some direction. Rock on DD

If you didn’t find them how can you claim double lung? Absolutely no way they were double lunged and went further than 150 yards. Your shot was off or hit shoulder blade and didn’t penetrate

I'm not an in real life Hunter probably will never get the chance to be but I had started caring more about the amount of meat I have harvested which my research says for most animals is roughly 1/3 of their total weight than the animals total weight or trophy rating

Awesome hunt DD33! Love your videos man....ever since classic. Your videos taught me many good strategies and routes in that game. I wouldn't shoot 4 stars at all. They wont ever make 5 if you shoot them at 4. You shot a 4 star in another video that was very high genetics...high 90's. That buck could have made a huge 5 star. The gamble is...he could also die of natural causes before getting 5 star. But eventually you will only have 5 stars in your lodge, so I say let the 4 stars walk and grow your top genetic herds as I think the game intends.

I agree, if you kill off the 4's you'll limit the 5's. Eventually you'll kill off what 5's you have now and have to start over letting the 3's matured. Does the game have seasons? if not is all luck on how long the maturing process takes...

I got a 5 star whitetail today and named him BB as in big boy but I also got a 5 star fallow but I don’t know what to name it and I’ve been watching it grow since it was a 3 star and I got a 5 star pheasant and 99.99 percent 4 star pheasant yesterday

I think these companies would be better served if they hired a hunting guide/consultant that really understands game animal behavior patterns, and really focus on making that as realistic as possible. I want to be able to walk into a area i think would hold a mature animal, search for sign like rubs, scrapes, travel corridors to bedding and food, then actually try to hunt what lives there. Sort of use it as a teaching tool not just a game for new hunters. I see they all ready have DLC content, maybe give us a map where we can plant food plots?

It's definitely possible for a deer to be hit in the vitals and live. My dad got an 8 point when I was a kid. That deer upset a lot of people. It had a broadhead in its backbone and the lungs had grown around it, a rifle slug in one of its lungs and another in the side of its heart.

Besides the obvious desperate changes that need to be made, FOV, keybinds etc. I really would love to see them fix antlers going into the ground when they're dead. Add that realism they've done with so many other things and just make it so we can see their full rack on while they're down.

I feel you on the FOV. I can't even watch the videos of this game. I get motion sickness pretty easily and I can feel the migraine setting in just watching a video. I refunded mine until they get it patched. Made it like 30 minutes in game before I felt like I was out at sea. Loved everything I got to mess with until it starting getting to me.

Because last gen isn't powerful enough to run the game, if it did release to last gen it wouldn't be anything like the PC/PS5 or Xbox series s or x game. Render distances, graphics,fps etc would all have to take a massive hit to even think about it being viable for last gen
