I mean I haven't experienced a single problem that I found on the V1 and I've ridden it nearly 20 miles per day for the last week. I've thouroughly enjoyed every ride so far. At this point I think the only critisism you could make on the SBX is the price. The V2 hasn't cut out or locked wheels once, they've solved the V1 problems. You can decide yourself whether you think my enthusiasm is genuine (it is). But either way, if I were you I'd wait 3 months to see whether I get any issues with it 👍
So looking at your old videos. You were totally slating Summerboard SBX.. The V2 made you change your mind? Do you have the V2.1 or V2.2?? Plus you're local to me.. But where do you SBX nowadays?
@@easy_riders But the main reason why SB got slated was because they upgraded the hardware and still charging their customers full whack to upgrade the problem SB.. even I had a problem and I've got the V2.. I had the first battery batch which I call 2.1.. and this had a capacity issue, which luckily, I got a free replacement for a version 2.2 (the latest).. Anyway, I think that's what I was getting at in my previous message.. about what version did you receive, because I still see alot of comments about boards failing and boards selling.. I'm still 50/50 on keeping mine.. I just not using it enough compared to my other boards..
You’re lucky, enjoy your SBX as much as you can! I got my Summerboard today and it came with no battery! The box was sealed! I've emailed Summerboard Support and I'm waiting for a response.
I am very lucky, it's been unbelievably fun and you're going to love yours for sure! Keep me posted on them sending you one, I'm sure they'll be quick about it.
@@easy_riders Summerboard Support responded the same day, saying that the battery was shipped separately due to customs regulations. I received the battery today. Charging... 😊
@@joaotavares6607 Amazing! I haven't had a single issue with my V2 yet and I hope the same holds for you, did you get the Pro Pack with the Blue Freshies? 🤔 Stoked to hear how you find it!
@@easy_riders I bought the starter pack, with duties and taxes this board costed me two kidneys 😬 Already have foot holds and I'll buy the Freshies 3.0 later 😉
First of all, nice buffed guns you have :) (your arms look buffed:) did they always was that big or did you worked out more recently`?, second nice safe fall. i mean you know how to fall what is much worth in this kind of sport! cool that you tryd it again and that they was able to fixed most of the issues from the beginning! When it would be not so expensive i would get one right away xD
Thanks a lot dude! I've been hitting the gym to try to land flat 540's 😂 Yeah it was a lucky bail! It definitely would be nice to see a lower cost option to open up this branch of Freeboarding to more people. Fingers crossed for the coming years! 🤞
@@easy_riders i already checked my bank account lol. i'm gonna wait and see what it looks like in 6 months of you riding it hard. man i used to have to buy edge wheels every 3 weeks on my v1
@@johnmraz4000 I was hoping to test it exactly how I would ride it and hopefully it'll last 1 year bare minimum (I mean a $2k product should last 2 or more imo) at which point I think it's a no brainer if you can afford it. It's been an absolute blast and honestly did feel like bring "Mt Olympus" (15km) to my door step. At the end of the day there are no sides, just riding! 🤟
Another great video. I have been trying to learn the SummerBoard on Tennis courts for the past 2months, with the basic center wheels. I found that it’s fairly difficult with the basic wheels on concrete, due to tiny bumps on the road. Would you say the freshies wheels are most have for street riding? Well worth the $150?
I think the standard ones would be fine, especially for a tennis course! It's hard for me to say whether it's "worth" it as it depends on your financial situation. I thouroughly like the wheels and theyre clearly better than the stock ones. But yeah, $150 is a lot.
Dude.. I recommend finding a local business park.. On Sunday's they usually close at 4pm.. Do it there and the ride is a lot smoother.. If you're worried about doing it, Do what I did.. Speak to the local manager of the store and let them know your intention.. Usually no issues as long as you do it when no customers are about!
