I still don’t know him personally but I would love it if he was the preorder character. They officially said the preorder character is “a character who hasn’t appeared in a Budokai Tenkaichi game before” so I think it’d be someone like him or Android 21 or maybe even a guest character from a different Akira Toriyama series like Dragon Quest, Blue Dragon, Chrono Trigger or Sand Land. There’s a lot of possibilities for who it could or couldn’t be. And that’s super cool

Z is not "it's own weird thing" because there's no Dragon Ball Z in the original manga, from Goku meeting Bulma to goku leaving to train Oob, it's a single story, the Z was added for the anime only. So saying to not watch Z is like saying to not watch Dragon Ball, it's telling people to skip a part of the story.

I hate to say it but akira toriyama considered gt to be canon to its own respective timelineas the dragon ball universe has expanded beyond its main canon. A lot of people expect the preorder mystery character will be shallot, that don’t make sense, because the requirements of the mystery character (from what we’ve heard) are, they haven’t been in a budokai tenkaichi game, and they don’t have transformations, which doesn’t really hit the criteria, since shallot has blue now, what I want them to do, is give some love to Frieza’s son Kuriza; but I think that’s just me.

I will not be able to use Uub or Majuub, XV & XV2 has ruined that for me😂😂(mostly XV2) all I can hear is his cry out in pain constantly! And I literally has his character now because of it. 😂😂 Also, I hope that they fix Goku's voice lines when he is talking to Vegeta for the fusion. Because for some reason it's in his base voice, rather than the SSJ4 voice. Kinda of, off putting. Also, S17 is missing.

GT isn't canon....yet. super takes place before the end of Z(pan is what, 3?) and GT takes place 11 years after end of Z. so super could still segway into EoZ and then into GT. also, the only thing stopping GT from being canon is the fact that the movies are canon to GT's timeline, and those are NOT canon to the mainline timeline.

Say what you want about the quality of GT and Super, Super *is* Canon. Toriyama only contributed to the title and initial designs for certain characters in GT, the rest was up to his team at Toei Animation. Super had him back giving rough drafts of the plot to Toyotaro and Toei for the anime, but worked closer with Toyotaro for the Manga.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was one of those games that holds a special place for me, I think the only game that I played more than this as a child was probably pokemon emerald. I'm hopping onto this game will give me a similar experince.
