RFK's breakup with Marilyn Monroe led to her suicide. Ted was also known for having affairs. As for family dynasty/royalty, you just need to review some history to see that it's full of royal family dynasties where extramarital affair were rampant. You don't have to look much further than the House of Windsor with Prince Charles, who ended his marriage to Diana to be with his affair partner. Then there was King Edward VIII, Prince Charles Great Uncle, who abdicated his throne to marry the 'woman he loved,' who happened to be married to another man at the time they got together. Genghis Khan had a homosexual affair while married. It is said that Charlemagne literally littered the Frankish Empire with his bastard children. There was a Merovingian prince who was married to a young Visigothic princess who was killed in a plot hatched by the Prince's mistress, which led to a lifetime feud between the mistress and the princess's sister who had married the Prince's brother. It goes on and on. Family dynasty/royalty and extramarital affairs have gone hand-in-hand throughout all human history. Schwarzenegger's affair is nothing unique or overly exceptional.

As a "love child" myself (my birth father was married with a family) I admire Arnold. Was he wrong to have an affair - absolutely. He stepped up and claimed his child, Joseph and supported him. He lost his wife because of this - and the respect of his children. I get it - it must have been devastating. But what disturbs me most is their children refuse to have any kind of relationship with their half-brother. I think that's very sad. When their parents are long gone, they will only have each other to lean on. I admire Maria Shriver very much - super classy woman. But I admire Arnold, too because he acknowledged what he did and that it was wrong - and has become a REAL FATHER to Joseph. He didn't have to do that - he could have just paid off the housekeeper and supported Joseph anonymously. That takes serious balls to do THE RIGHT THING.
Kennedy family are Irish American who have lived in America for a few generations. For me a true American is native American like Cherokee and Hopi tribes amongst many others. The later planters were from Colonialism. She was not only a extraordinary First Lady of Califirnia, she was very much involved with women their concern and their empowerment. I attended one of her events at the Long Beach Convention Center. It was the best Convention, with speakers from different backgrounds and different views. I missed that about California first ladies, they do NOTHING.

I always wondered if there were any Kennedy women who thought: I don't want to accept this and wanted to live outside what the family accepted as it is what it is. I just love classy Maria Shriver. I'm sorry to see such an unclassy, ageist piece about her, portraying her amazing accomplishments as forgotten. I did not know The List was an ignorant, ageist channel. Noted. A VERY large population well knows Shrivers excellent journalist work, and her many accomplishments over decades to now. To the tiny population this channel is addressing that doesn't know the many facets of her life - do some research on her from sources that have lived on this earth more than two decades. The ongoing adversity experienced by Kennedy women, Maria and her matriarchal line, has been well documented. That the men in their lives have been a major factor to their pain is also well documented. It has me asking....is the adversity not that bad, that they are perpetually drawn to men of power and accept infidelity and recklessness as a byproduct? Instead, are they blind to the cycle, and can't get out of it? I don't want to see such smart, strong women as deeply flawed but history suggests otherwise.

With so many quality and caring people sharing their attention to charities wouldn't it be wonderful if only a few would notice the offences of ''Gain Of Function '' practices. If this division "Gain Of Function" our government would STOP SUPPORTING, a healthier life could be the future of an extremely huge amount of sweet helpless, young and once healthy little innocent animals. All have been and still are being victimized under the innocent looking name '"Gain Of Function". Should more American Citizens learn of the horrific acts our government is supporting, most all in our Country would be terribly shocked. And too, appalled that an extremely vast sum of our tax dollars are used to support this atrocious activity. Surely there must be a few, at least one with a heart that could start a champagne to STOP such wretched offenses upon God's innocent little creatures. Afterwards, those exorbitant amounts of dollars (nearing or beyond billions) could be further directed towards diseases that we can allocate to finding more and better solutions to ease those being afflicted by a host of varieties of illness prematurely every day.
