I think they need him to bring them back down to a level playing field. I think one of savage’s drawbacks is he gets tunnel vision sometimes and wants to key the lobby when he’s on a roll. If you watch at the 8:00 mark the coach literally tells them the play to basically get a reset and get a game plan but he tried to key a team and died like 10 seconds later. The coach literally tried to avoid that situation.

Every sport at a high level has a coach. They can call when to swap utility, look at the zone and players left, make calls that can only be seen when spectating both players, etc.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing, esp because Mongraal gives Blood a bunch of unnecessary responses to the calls Blood makes (ex. "I know how to play the game" lol). But the points Tino and Bryan's responses are on point. Plus, I'm sure Blood is getting paid well to coach lol
