Finally the restoration of a 1970's style hot rod. She is actually beautiful. All you need is a brand new paint job in the same car along with new same style pinstripes.
I prefer vintage 50s/early 60s traditional builds, but understand and appreciate you keeping the 70s theme with this car. What a Smoking deal on your purchase. Great looking 34 ! Just found your channel and subscribed. Love your content.
I live just north of Memphis and went to the nationals in 75 and 80, the last one in Memphis. (I think those years are correct). Great video! I never thought I'd see a "Let's make it 70s style" hot rod. Looks fantastic. Well done!
Absolutely gorgeous street rod. I'm getn ready to build a model car like this & it made my mind up on color choice & engine with high-rise intake instead of a blower. Keep that sweetheart looking pretty. ❤
Nice ride sir, I like it, I might have rebuilt the engine, just because I can't leave them alone, but your car looks good and sounds good, enjoy your ride, and thanks for sharing
What a great video about a great Hot Rod. You nailed the look and the overall restoration! Thanks for saving "Lady Luck"! And thanks for explaining all you did to keep it period correct. Well done.
Love this car and how you saved it without violating its 1970's vibe. Thank You... I am in Knoxville, where are you located? Just the town will be sufficient.... ....RooDog....
WOW!! Makes me wonder what my 40 Dodge coupe is worth. Original patina body & chrome riding on a custom chassis with 4 wheel independent suspension and disc brakes, B block dodge, auto trans and new interior. A true sleeper. The seventies were the best. Love the show and thanks for sharing. Cheers from Edmonton Alberta Canada
What a great project and your period correct updates are excellent except for the wire wheels. I had a set on my '57 Bird and couldn't keep them clean or balanced. To bad the original builder hasn't poped up, he looks like he did quality work 50 years ago. Thanks for the video
That really is a Sharpe looking coupe and I'm a Chevy guy but I love that it is powered by a Ford engine and I am a big fan of fine line pin striping I've worked as a painted in body shops sense the mid 70s I was the youngest painter at a Chevy dealership ever I was 16 and yes I was a full fledged painter not a helper they called me the kid the average body man or painter back then was late 30s to 40s. My boss pushed me because he seen a future for me as a painter and he was also my girlfriends father we worked great together.
Great polishing job, that was a lot of work! I just can't like those scoops, but then I don't have to! Looks to me like the rear end needs to move about 1/2" forward. Beautiful car!
Hey sorry, I didn't see the rest of your video, before asking about the Ft. End'. Chevelle ball joints can fit, and, yes I'm dating myself here too! Your minor updates/ improvements are great, and didn't mess with Its character/ Og Styling. Dubs
You know what your talkin' brother! McMullens 32 Looked so much better in its original form, (as did Soo many others). You sure are finden em' . Love, DuBs
It is gorgeous nice looks on it intrestingly I used to have a lady luck t-shirt refridge magnet and a jacket with Lady Luck logo and the image of a woman mechanic!!
Regarding the dim tail lights, ditch any paints and use some highly crumpled-up aluminum foil; did this on my '32 tails and it brightens up like nothing else I ever tried.
Good Golly Ms Molly!!!😮 Lol like Gator McClusky said " Shakey Puddin...get that gal of yours a new dress next payday??? Your a Lucky man to hav a Lady Luck like her to allow her man to luv and spend sooo much time with all his hotrod gals😅😂 Make us another video to watch please. I ll be watchn from Wild and Wonderful Wva. 2miles up the holler !!!
I used to hate the wire wheels but now that I'm old I can appreciate them properly. They have to be reverse deep dish though. I'd sure hate to have to clean them though.
I’m one more thing I would’ve not get rid of any of those parts and if you’d ever sell that car, let this parts go with it so that that was the parts on that car and when you backed it out of the garage that yellow pin stripe look good with that gold on that motorI would’ve never picked it but that looks very nice. I like white and gold and yellow gold jewelry so that’s that was a good good shot my friend. Take care of this beautiful.
Yeah, I was gonna comment on that front end also on how high it was .. get nose bleed and a tiket?? With that on the hight is, you’d run up into the back of a vehicle and take them out…. Lol
the seats look like 69-73 mach 1 mustang high back seats i had a set in a 1974 ford Econoline custom van and everyday someone was trying to buy the seats from me it was candy yellow with baby moon rims small fiberglass fender flare finish oak running boards the side doors was gone you could never tell that they was ever there someone before me done a good job get rid of the doors it was sharp
The coupe that sold for 48 thoud was in North Dakota not Montana. Poor kid didn't have enough money left to buy a deck lid which it needed that was on a separate lot.

Where did you buy Quick-Glo? I understand that the company is out of business. Are you buying new old stock? Please advise where your source is located. Thanks.
