I've said it from the start lads, it is absolutely criminal that you don't have a higher subscriber count. The energy, the variety, the production values, the on-camera charisma, you're bringing it all in every single upload, surely it's only a matter of time until you reach that tipping point.
not that I disagree, but from my opinion, the cuts is too short for such rich content in each shot, and their topics is not organized to put the focus on any single main subject. i also like the energy but it's essentially (without being mean) ineffective at the end with no structure to the script, retaining nothing but taking away viewer attentions off of any significant details that might be relatable, then direct them onto the next strings of editing. the color is great but the overall video being too dark cause of the edit whilst people can often see there's more than two light sources in the same shot (conflicting perception), while having too many shaky camera that convey no purpose in particular, or leading up to any build (up coming location or things). They are good with travel but doing food content, their demographic is separated because of different interests/ demands for type of 8-10 mins video, doesn't seem to me like they are catering to a steady group of growing audiences, but an on then off, comes and goes viewer, "maybe they have something for me today, maybe they don't". My suggestion, they need to slow down the experiences that being put on screen, structure the filming, editing around giving more time to each elements, factor, material being shown and try to create some (even half) stories/ scenarios / situation for that topic, to create a personal space for viewers, especially some kind of reasons for people to come and stay. They are scrambling right now and there is a lot of substitutes out there that could have done small pieces of same but singular content better
The average human watching videos is not that technical 😳We want food fun and I love the vibe … I was also surprised off rip based on other lesser content that they do not have a mil subs. Love it. Keep it up❤️
Boys, honestly as per usual the episode was fucking brilliant! London really is a melting pot of the cuisines from cultures all over the world! Was a great present to come home to this on my birthday!
You guys are amazing! Another great video as always, keep them coming!! I'd love to see the best Japanese restaurants in London, with lots of veggie/vegan options 😍
I absolutely love every video you guys make, but I have to make a suggestion: do your research on the music, salsa is not a Spanish thing... just saying! Much love from Barcelona!
I have very recently discovered you guys! Thank you for such brilliant and entertaining videos! You are giving me such inspiration for eating out in London!! I never know where to go...but you've given me some great starting points! Xx
As you travel you bring us the world through food, thanks gentlemen. As an aside, interviews with chefs and restaurant owners would be a fascinating addition.
Big fan from Chicago. Have been watching you guys for a while and I recently was able to take a trip to London. Thanks to you guys I was able to try a bunch of awesome places. Legends! Keep up the awesome content.
Stayed for the churros 😜 have you changed editors recently? The audio is not as level as it used to be and the footage seems a wee bit darker than your old stuff! Just a bit of feedback from a friendly RU-vidr 😁✌🏼
I noticed that too! I kept turning my headphones down during the music and up for the talking. Hopefully just an off day for them and back to the regular goodness next time.
Love the videos…. They never disappoint. We both watch wherever we can. We did think the sunglasses were way too pricey though but am sure many will disagree. Keep up the fantastic work!
Love the sweater, Jesse! A few of us will be making the trip over from Des Moines, Iowa in September! Big fan of your work and would love to hear about your top recommendations. Go Hawks!
I love this show and their use of music, but the are trying Spanish food and the music is latin American, totally different music, they could of use some flamenco or flamenco inspired or something more Spanish and would of been perfect
The fact you're still at ~250k subs just proves the RU-vid algorithm is broken. This is a top notch channel, and I'm completely shocked you aren't over a million!
@Steve R RU-vid can be a weird place, honestly. A lot of it really does boil down to the algorithm, as most views come from YT recommendations. And videos like this probably aren't getting tons of search traffic. Of course without seeing their analytics, tough to say what gives. At any rate, I'm glad the algorithm decided to recommend one of their videos to me! It's one of my favorite channels.
Lobos, I know them very well great food, stunning hospitality, we are really proud to have designed their restaurant on Frith street and in Borough Market. When you get onto Italian try Negroni's opposite.
The UK has certainly matured as a country for "Foody's" since the 1970s when I was a kid. Back then London was often the subject of the worlds favorite food jokes (with America being not far behind).
Guys guys guys. You gotta check out Trisha's /blue door bar when you in and about Soho. No kegged beers or ciders no wine.list except white or red. Super affordable and a vibrant flamboyant history. Gotta go check it
Barrafina (whichever one you end up at) is by far some of the best Spanish food you will eat...and I live in Barcelona. This is such a great channel, I am sure when you break the 500K subs mark it will be no time at all to 3M. Very well done.
Guys your stuff is mint, any chance of a competition or something where the prize is going out with you guys on one of these foodie adventures? I’d be unreal keen! (Subscribed too, I got you)
The wild card, has nothing about Andalucía. The sherry vinegar is not enough to make it Spanish food. Too much of a wild card. Few Spanish people would know what harissa is let alone use it!! And so on….
Good quality, 255k is high but deserve higher subscribers number. Please feature #Filipino food and would be fun if you can taste/identify the Spanish influence in them. Thank you!
Your videos always are suggested to me by RU-vid but I'm reticent because I'm Spanish and sometimes we are very...let's say displeased with how our food (mostly recipes) and food culture are display. I'm from Galicia so you drinking Estrella makes me warm and fussy on the inside but... The backround music is in Spanish, but not Spanish, at all. Not everything from Madrid down is Andalucía. It is salud, with a D, not salut, with a T. And now all I want to eat is tortilla with a caña of Estrella.
Please check out my cousins' two Filipino restaurants in London; Romulo Cafe on Kensington High St (Traditional) and Kasa & Kin on Poland St Soho (Contemporary), you will not be disappointed. Love your content no matter where you go. I was in London a few weeks ago and got to try some of your recommendations.💯
5:06 adding harissa to potatoes is as Spanish as jamón is Moroccan, mate. I think it'd be a good idea to get people from the countries which food you're exploring so they know what they're talking about.
I normally like Top Jaw videos but, saying that Andalucía is from Madrid down....uf......it just killed me inside. Next time you can bring me in the food tour, real guy from Cádiz (real Andalucía)
Come on guys. Marwan was not saying that these were Spanish, he was saying that the marriage of the two was common. Hence why it was the Wildcard. 'The Barbary Next Door' is quite literally and openly a Moroccan/Spanish fusion restaurant and this is why the influences were discussed. I think that was made pretty clear in the film.
And next time, use proper Spanish music unless your doing Latin American food. There! That’s my slagging contribution. And perhaps get a proper Spaniard that knows his geography. Que viva España 🇪🇸
