OMFG!!! thank you, thank you. I'm having what seems to be the same problem. I'm 99% sure there is nothing wrong with the fridge. My water to the fridge is the same thing, a stupid saddle valve. Slow water fill and none to only a few cubes of ice. My current water PSI at the fridge is 20PSI. I'd like to see it at 50 or better. Was getting so tired of all these change the water filter videos.
If you’ve watched the whole series, you know I had that wall open last year. But we didn’t have the fridge yet and I had no idea the water pressure would have been so bad. Had I known, I would have brought it up in the wall. But for a retrofit, this is fine IMO.
@@handydadtv yeah I do recall seeing that, but given you already have access under the wall plate it surely would have been (apart from the dry wall work if you need to get around any unexpected blocking) almost as straight forward to drill up from the basement with that mega-drill bit you have and thread it up into the cavity... though it escapes me if you had services in there which might fight with a wild drill bit like electrical or other plumbing 🤣 But either way, each to their own. Achieves the same thing at the end of the day 👍🏻
