I REALLY think you guys should visit The Pine Barrens in New Jersey. It is told that the pine barrens forest is the final resting place of the Jersey Devil. Who is the Jersey Devil, you ask? Allow me to educate: Some time in the earlier 1700's, one of the first settlers of New Jersey, was the Leeds family. Well, the mother, Jane Leeds, also known as Mother Leeds, was pregnant with her 13th child. She was so frustrated after having 12 children already, she cursed her unborn baby and said: "let this one be a devil". Well, months later Mother Leeds went into labor. It was a boy and perfectly normal. However, only minutes later the baby changed. It grew hooves, the head of a goat, and had wings of a bat, and a tail. Now there are many different stories as to what the Jersey Devil really looked like but most stories say it was how I just described. Okay, some people say that the Jersey Devil killed his mother, father, midwife, and anyone else gathered in the room and then left the house and went to live in the Pine Barrens forest. Others say he only killed the midwife and then flew through the chimney of the house and into the forest. There have been many sightings on the Jersey Devil if you go into the Pine Barrens forest to this very day. It has been said that he mostly attacks young children. If you go there, be careful. My mom has been there before I was born and she never saw anything but she did say it was the creepiest place she has ever seen in her entire life. She says she was there in broad daylight and she still felt terrified.

Sam and Colby, I live in Rochester, New York and there are quite a few abandoned things here or surrounding here. Theres an abandoned subway, an abandoned psych ward that’s still open in some parts but totally worth the risk, Durand park and Beach also known as white ladys castle where theres still remains of a castle that a woman lived in before she drowned in the lake across from it, its super erie and you can hear things I can’t even begin to explain, I personally have seen a figure of a horse that disappeared into thin air (don’t know the relevance of the horse, maybe you’ll find out with research?), theres an abandoned air force plant (51) by lake ontario, still in rochester, and abandoned church in Mt. Hope Cemetery where Susan B. Anthony and her family were buried, an abandoned outdoor mini golf course called “Penfield Rinky Dink mini golf course”, an abandoned Delco Plant, a Seneca Army Depot, and incinerator plant, and an abandoned dentistry dispensary. Upstate New York is basically a gold mine for abandoned things, exploring and haunted stuff. Rochester also isn’t too far from Rolling Hills Asylum which I’ll leave you to your own research but some fucked up shit happened there and i personally know people who’ve had intense paranormal experiences there. I would live in it. Dream home, that would be awesome. Usually they already have super big kitchens, rooms etc, and then you could like roller skate and stuff, or anything really, learn the organ, ring your bell, look out the windows, lots of built in privacy, while still being beautiful, breakfast nook, open concept, your own steeples, lots of character, it checks every box. Omg, singing in there though too, like, man it sucks they left it to rot, probably demolished now. Come to Port Washington Wi, Catholic church had a school attached that recently closed, but has under ground tunnels that the nuns used to get to services. My aunt worked there for a long time and had to take the same tunnels, she said they were definitely haunted as she had multiple creepy experiences down there.
