STORY
Join us on a journey unlike any other as we venture down the driveway of a desolate French residence, where a peculiar sight awaits. It's as if we're approaching a life-size dollhouse, frozen in time amidst gradual decay. Step by step, the once vibrant exterior has peeled away like an orange, revealing layers of history beneath.
In our decade of exploration, nothing quite compares to the enigmatic allure of this place. It's a testament to the lives of Claude and Aloise, who called this house their home for generations. Claude, the diligent electrician, and Aloise, the devoted homemaker, crafted a life within these walls, leaving behind a legacy that defies time.
Since their passing in 1994, the house has stood as a silent witness to their existence, a living museum of memories. Among the relics left behind, we unearthed letters from their grandchild Chantal, echoing a poignant longing for Claude, hinting at a family's untold saga.
Join us today as we delve into the mysteries of this unconventional yet captivating home, piecing together the story of its inhabitants and the echoes of lives once lived. Welcome to the abandoned dollhouse, where every corner holds a tale waiting to be told.

Hi Lesley & Danny, 😉 Very Sad, to see this once Beautiful Home Decaying & No One is Saving the Furniture & Other Items!!☹ Too Bad Her Adult Child or Children, Didn`t take the Pictures & Furniture in 1994! Wow that Fox looked so Real & a comment said, women of that Era Wore a Fox Around Their Neck...I remember that..but this Whole Fox is Much Larger!! My Mom Wore Fur Coats in the 1930`s -1950`s, but Not Around Her Collar of Her Coat!! The Car in the Garage is Still in Good Shape, the Lawn Mower, the Bicycle!! Someone is cutting the grass, but Not Next to House!! Thanks Both of You for Sharing This Video, To All of Us!! ❤ Take Care & have a Safe Trip to Your Next Journey!!😎❤ Love Barb from Central Illinois USA❣

OK I can explain this if one family member contest the well it goes to probate that’s how it is in Colorado it’s really difficult takes a long time and it’s extremely expensive so that’s Colorado yeah the courts have to appoint a whole team of people to sell the stuff and if there’s a problem in the family someone’s not responding there’s a disagreement it’s stuck in probate that’s what I believe can happen has happened does happen extremely expensive to buy the end of it the lawyers take a lot

Hey dear Lesley, what a fascinating explore in that house somewhere in France. - So sad to see this amazing location so heavily decaying! But your comparison with a dollhouse is so appropriate and descriptive. Well done, bro! - On the other hand it was so surprising to see how some of the rooms are still intact and the furniture still standing in place! Amazing! - And - again the camerawork of Danny is simply excellent, and I just love the conversations you have with Danny! The completely collapsed walls are unbelievable to see. Dollhouse - how true! Wishing you all the best, many hugs, peace and kindest regards.

You dont even have to find a way in. Just walk right in. Sam & Jess did this house last year. Its still one of those wow moments. Id be afraid to go in because the upper floor could collapse. Wonder if both of them passed away or they left when the wall fell. What would cause the wall to just fall ? Its still amazing and a shame at the same time. Please be careful in this house. ❤

Always enjoy your documentaries. Just a word about the car. Back in the day when cars had analog odometers, they often only had 5 digits. So at 100,000 km./miles, the odometer would simply roll over to 00000. Buyers back then were suspicious of really low-mileage cars.

i dont care how bad the house is i would take the furniture and completely restorte the furniture to perfect condition. i went to croatia back in january and there was a home in prety much the same shape as this home , i bought the furniture , shipped it all back to the states and completely restored the furniture, to brand new, the furniture was from the early 1800;s , once restored i listed it and sold all of the pieces to a collector, bought for 13,000 euros and sold for 450,000.00 , with shipping in 4 containers and restoring i profitted 315,000.00, seeing places like this makes my mouth water !
