@@bullydully7428 literally just the slate. it was a super profitable mine shipping off roofing slates all over the world, in the late 1800's it would ship roughly 24k tonnes. there are many other minerals present in the mines but the thing i came across the very most when exploring them was just plain old pyrite (fools gold).

@@truelightoutdoors8450 honestly there is nothing id love more than that but unfortunately im disabled now. after a battle with ill health in 2012 my walking skills are deminished xD id be more than happy to pin a few more places of interest on google maps for them though.

Caves under Nottingham centre too i went down a level u could see a hole dropping down at least 2 more floors theres an entrance in the cellar of the building that was once a pub called the thurland hall :) saw it when I was a kid would love to go back, builders say they saw a ghost in the cellar too said we dont need to leave someone watching the beer while they work so we said we havent what you mean? They said the guy on the stool we went to check and nobody there! Another time we went to leave one night everything off as we step out the door to lock it boom music full blast so someone went looked and hit stop turned it back off, it happens a 2nd time exactly as we get to the door again so he goes back and UNPLUGS the amp and it still happens a 3rd time after this time i stepped outside and refused to go back in ang the guy didnt walk this time he ran and vaulted over the bar this time thinking maybe someone was hiding playing around or something but they wasnt so he turned the power fully off and we left i actually went hotel that night we was going to eat then back to pub to sleep its a big old building like 4 floors and basement but i was genuinely scared so went hotel that night lol i was always bit scared of the place after that lol id very rarely go in the basement alone anymore even tho the incidents were totally different days there was lots of other reports of funny goings on from people over the years so that kinda was enough proof for me 🤣✌❤️
