I think keeping things like the Thundergun in the system but not purchasable is the right move. Rather nice having a lucky draw chance for something like what did I find in my pocket and the supply drop.
The amount of times everyone got tricked by that blocked ladder was hilarious. I’m convinced the editor chose those POV’s to put in because of how many times it happened.
I think the red light and grill imply it could be sometimes opened (there is a wire going from that light, maybe toward the switch??). I wonder if they saw it being opened in a previous session or something and keep getting drawn to it.
So the BabyMaker, both in CoD Zombies and in TTT allows the shrunk enemy to get kicked by being walked on to insta kill. Rhythian shrunk himself, then walked into Zoey to get himself kicked without her having to do anything. Because Zoey doesn't actually do any damage with this Kick, the kill was credited to the last person who damaged him, therefore Lewis got the kill
So basically, it's a situation of flags not being cleared correctly??? Damage sets who last dealt damage, anything that affects another player is registered as a "hit" but since it did no damage, it doesn't update who last dealt damage to be "no one", thus when he inevitably dies, game sees "Jester died, Lewis last dealt damage, Lewis killed the Jester, round over!!"???? That would explain why pushing a Jester into a kill plane does the same thing... Man, the Jester's code is clearly *weird!*
@@NimonoSolenzeWith the damage flags I just think that’s Gmod/Source code. But they should probably update to make it so the “last damaged by *person*” flag resets after awhile, so stuff like dying by fall damage after, say, 10 seconds doesn’t count as a kill. Though they should also try and fix the baby mode so someone can’t force you to kick them. Like when Rythian ran up to a stationary Zoey. Or make it so the kick is a hit.
@@NimonoSolenze Issue there being, if you take damage and then go and kill yourself by jumping off something a few seconds later it should still say you killed yourself, so the flag should have long reset anyway by the point Rythian died. And things like discombobulators and crowbar pushes would grant incorrect kills given that no damage was done.
@@Speederzzz it is a strangely common trend to see non-native speakers who have a better grasp of the language of Shakespeare than actual native speakers
@@jordinagel1184 The same can be said of other languages as well (at least, there are instances of this in the Netherlands involving people non-native). I'm not certain, but it might be due to non-natives having to actually learn said language in an official capacity or establisment.
@@AberrantChibi I feel like it’s more pronounced for English though. I can’t speak for myself, as, though I am half German and half Spanish, I never learned each language in the same capacity as someone who spent their entire school life in a country that speaks either, but I rarely saw people of other languages getting schooled as often or to the same extent as with English.
Really love Daltos randomly flexing his memory skills by saying the alphabet backwards what a random and surprising skill to have so readily available lol
Like damn this run of TTT videos has been such a delight. I'm all about that Daltos/Zoey/Rhythian/Bree/Duncan/Ben/Lewis vibe. It's up there with games that have Tom, Bouphe, Fiona or Lydia in them.
The problem with perfect pangrams (at least in English) is that there just aren't enough vowels for all those consonants. Edit: Actually, both of Rythian's suggestions only reuse vowels, so he was as close as is reasonable to get already.
9:49 Ben: *Does no damage* Daltos: *Kills a possible jester* If Ben was the actual jester that would have been such a good play. Edit: But not as good as Rythian Baby Maker suicide play and win.
What you mean Daltos teaches Rythian? 2:40 Rythian explain the word then said he read a book about it... Did I miss a part later where Daltos correct him?
Rythian: *Fires baby maker and flings off into the distance up and off a half pipe while giggling maniacally to land on the floor and die* Everyone: *Complete confusion* Rythian: I WON!
I would've made a Thundercats reference in the Thunder Gun round... On the subject of cats; i love how Zoey was just playing on the half-pipe in the Mary Poppins round.
The old phoenix always worked as intended, they just didn't understand how it was meant to work. Any hit that brings you below a certain health threshold puts you in stasis where you appear to be dead, then heals you after a set duration. Any hit that skips over that threshold and kills you still just kills you. It's the same as how the Dead Ringer doesn't prevent any damage, it just makes you invisible when you take damage. So any hit that would normally kill you still kills you.
Rythian somehow killing himself and winning as Jester was peak TTT. Beautiful. Also Dalits with the flex of saying the ABC’s backwards! What a cool skill! “Whose idea was this?” The way Rythian said this was great! LOL Also Daltos: “Haha, you said P.”
An idea for a new Randomat: Stop It, I'm Bees! When the Randomat takes effect, a random player is announced to be bees in the subtext (e.g. Lewis is Bees). A player who is bees periodically spawns bees around them (and if possible, is made immune to manhack damage, or possibly can't aggro them). When the player who is bees dies, they spawn a shit ton of bees.
It's actually really good... they just... can't aim for shit ^^' 7 damage per bullet so 15 bullets to kill or 0,9 seconds if all rounds hit... 4x headshot multiplier you can kill in just 4 rounds... You're supposed to aim down the sights and shoot quick bursts ^^'
Japanese, due to the fact that it’s vowels are attached to the consonants in each character (not a very good description but you know what I mean), IS capable of pure Panagrams. There is a famous poem called the ‘Iroha’ which uses every character of the Japanese syllabary once and only once, and is also actually a nice poem. Because it’s a perfect Panagram, it was also once used as an ordering for the syllabary (like our A, B, C ordering)
I'm bugged nobody even stopped to wonder if you could get up that blocked ladder. It had a red light! Surely that means it could've turned green? Right? RIGHT?! Also they could've tried with the Mary Poppins randomat
Ohh Rythian you have and always will be my favorite, really nice development from being rage Rythian to quick facts Rythian, tho salty Rythian is quite pleasant sometimes.
As far as I can tell the bug with the jester works like this, The babymaker forces a fall damage kill after its victim has been kicked, bypassing the normal fall damage function and therefore the jesters immunity to fall damage, and as far as I'm aware the source engine credits "finished off" kills when players die of fall damage after being damaged by another player, so Lewis shot rythian down to low health, then rythian got babymakered set to 1 hp and kicked by Zoey, then the baby state forced a fall damage kill, which credited Lewis with finishing off rythian, hence the jester wins!
Sesame Street has an entire song where Big Bird assumes the alphabet is just one word. He pronounces it like "AberdackyJabbeklenoPWalkeyStuwixez" or something.
I still think that the phantom is far too powerful, between giving away who killed them with smoke, being able to troll them, and coming back to life when their killer dies
Another strange concept: there's a book written without using the letter E. Obviously the writer has to be REALLY careful about their wording. Sentences go in directions you wouldn't expect, just to avoid words with that letter. The funniest part: it's in French, and someone made an English translation. It's not a direct translation of course, because the person doing the english version once again had to choose their words carefully to avoid using the letter E. As for the plot, it's like a murder mystery but there's no dead body. Instead everyone instinctively knows something's wrong but they can't put their finger on what, so they're investigating. As each figures it out they disappear from the universe.
