Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper) on the farm. With a lot of help from Daddy Cornstar, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for both young adults and adults. Despite being 23-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.

It absolutely cracks me up when Daddy Cornstar trips over his words and comes up with his own version of sayings. You should put together a list of all his random quotes and put them on a shirt. I started watching the videos for the house renovation but now here I am, a nurse from the UK watching farm videos. I think I just like the fact that you all seem like you don't have a mean bone in your body, it's nice watching kind people. Wishing you well from across the pond Cornstars!

I did the exact same thing as you. I watched Coles cleaning of his Victorian mansion and then binge watched all his farming videos. I have now planted and harvested with the corn stars and cannot wait to see the new combine in action!! I too am a nurse in Missouri. My hometown in Iowa is a hr and half from where the CornStars live. I have grown up living in the Corn state of Iowa but never knew how hard it was to grow all that corn or soy beans. Now I know👍 I tune in every eve and get my CornStar fix and I am good. But like you said. " who would of thought it" lol.

Wish I had more time with my dad. Growing up he was around, but didn't want to spend much time with me. As he got older he opened up more. Sorry to hear that. Sometimes I wished my dad and I were closer . I learn from dad he does have good points but the way he tries to bring it across really makes us not get along well. My ideas aren't always the best either but that doesn't mean they should be shit on. Sometimes we just butt heads and then we are pissed off at each for the day. My brother and him butted heads too . I will tell you, you exude that trust and good letting go, and commitment to the growth of your youngins. You are killing it! You exude all the stuff you said at the end. it is so easy to see. I agree but it is also important for the young to listen to the older ones to save them from wasting time and effort in making the same mistakes that they made. It is important to listen to the ideas of the young ones but for the older ones to chip in and say "Good idea but we tried exactly that ten years ago and here is why it didn't work as well as we thought so let's get our heads together and iron out the wrinkles based on what we already know from my experiences". After all, experience can be described as being able to recognize a mistake as you're making it again 😁

Daddy Cornstar you and Mommy CS are truly blessed you have 2 young men with good character. Not everybody can say that. Really I know of what I speak, not every young boy grows up respecting his parents, there are boys with rebellion and restless wandering in their blood. I knew some boys that could have helped their Dad and didn't...they regretted the life they didn't live, and the things they did to hurt him. Same can be said for Dads also, not every boy has a good one. It's truly good in these days to see the relationships you on Cornstar farms have built, more than corn and beans growing there.

You are an amazing family. I look forward to watching every day. I love that you all have so much respect for each other. I would enjoy a day in Mama Cornstar’s life. One day probably wouldn’t tell the whole story. And Summer is hoot but a hard working young person too. Mr. and Mrs. Cornstar raised a beautiful family! Thank you all for sharing your life with a mom in The Pacific Northwest who now knows something about farming. Love to all of you!!

Preach it, Daddy Cornstar. That's the kind of dad I have tried to be, too. Nothing feels better than to see your kids succeed.

I know what you mean about your kids listening to what you say and do even when it seems like they aren't. Now that my daughter is an adult, I hear my words in her voice frequently. Sometimes it surprises me ! Daddy (Pop) Cornstar is a gem !!!

That was really touching, heartfelt advice daddy CornStar. To be even aware of those things, at your young age, will make a huge difference with the kids willingness to succeed in Farming and hopefully in return makes your life better too. It’s a two-way street when people at least listen to each other. Hats off to you Sir. Wise words for any generation.
