Jon this was a sick vid man. Love the work. I Would love to see more vids like this and the Hong Kong tackle shop vid. Pls do more videos on reels like this and more gt fishing pls. I still use a shimano Batam mag from the 90’s and it works just as well as some shimanos ive bought in the last three years

Hi Jon, This was the first time i saw this video and i'd like to thank you for doing it. I've lived in Bali for 8 years and that shop was my go to. My first casting rod and reel i've got them there at the shimano shop on the top. Thanks for bringing me back there. I'm now living in France it's been 2 years since i've gone from bali. Your videos are truly amazing you might have been the one making me buy my first casting set up and i'm glad you went to the place i've bought it. Thanks for this amazing video.

The popper that you see in fishing store is called gacko. That popper made by adhe Bali. Adhek is the owner of GT one fishing boat. Adhek also always campaigning do not throw garbage in the sea and also how important to do catch and release to maintain the ecosystem. I think he is also the first man who did sport fishing like popping in Indonesia. If you come back to Indonesia you can contack him. Just Search adhek sportfishing. I found a new in box Shimano Citica a year ago. Came with the manual and all the weights and shims. An old man that sells gear out of his garage had a ton of old new stock.

I just bought my first casting reel and spinning reel, anytime I would go fishing with my dad he swore by spincasting reels but I never thought they could cast very far and have only seen low gear ratios on them I just cant wait for my fishing stuff to get here even tho i wont be able to fish for a while still since Im in northern Indiana and its still cold I just can't wait.

I've got the corado 200e7 and this thing is about 6 years old works brand new and has caught some big fish such as Barra and even a 20kg trevally and still works fine and I reckon it will still last me a couple more years

I found a curado 300dsv about a year ago and had boco bearings put in it this year I love it my thumbs are big so the bigger spool works well for me
