The sea. Salt Don’t underestimate the importance of the sea salt in making those cookies FIRE. ❤

I have seen other videos of people making cookies, where they ended up with a large batch of dough. They baked some, then scooped the rest of the dough onto baking trays with a small gap between them, before putting in the freezer. Once they are frozen you can put them into a bag or container to store frozen. All you need to do then is take out however many you want and put on trays to defrost, before baking them as usual.

Anna, I think you might have found the sure-fire way to keep JT quiet! 😂 I can't remember if you've said whether or not you both like raisins, but oatmeal & raisin cookies are one I'd like to see you make next (as long as you both like raisins, of course). Or if you want to have a go at another recipe, Barry Lewis does some really good (and sometimes very unusual) stuff on his channel - but it's not all sweet things he makes. There is a cookie recipe he made a while ago that uses peanut butter in the mix. I had a go at them and they were really good, so I recommend them!

Loved your video, cookie dough should be refrigerated for 30 min before baking, you can also scoop & freeze left over dough on a cooking sheet or other flat surface. When frozen put the scoops into a ziploc freezer bag and you can bake from frozen, The salt is pronounced Mall-din (mall like in ball and don as in bin)

You might find it easier to use the beater paddle rather than the dough hook.Everything will blend easier

Hi Anna good looking short😍

Fast 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg. Cream sugar and egg together, add pb, scoop onto cookie sheet, flatten with fork, sprinkle a bit of sugar on top, bake at 350 about 14 minutes. This generally makes 18 cookies. It’s my go to for a quick treat.

Anna, I'm a retired baker/confectioner. When cutting something crunchy like oat cookies, use a pizza wheel cutter while they're still warm. Quick and simple.

Even the plain version of this type of recipe is 🔥 8oz butter 4oz caster sugar 1 egg 8oz of oats 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of salt Mix butter and sugar, stir in egg, salt and baking powder Kneed into rounds and roll Gas Mark 3 for 15 - 20 mins Would expect the addition of Peanut Butter and white Chocolate to make the sweet version would be good but the above savoury version knocks ‘Nature Valley’ bars into a cocked hat 🎩

I've been gluten free for about a year, but today my Dr says he wants to do some more tests, so for 8 weeks I need to eat gluten, so that the tests will show the reaction... So tomorrow I'm going to bake up a storm, or maybe two storms... lol First on my list is Scones, I've got groceries arriving tomorrow and there's strawberries and cream added after the Dr gave me the news... So I'm happy & excited but I expect to live in the bathroom for two months... 🙄😜🤪

Your sea salt (my favorite brand) is pronounced Mawl-don. Its rather pricey so maybe dont use when cooking and baking as you cant taste how good it is. Get some cheap kosher salt for cooking and baking and save the Maldon to finish off dishes before serving. Love your baking videos.

Maldon is pronounced MOLdon. I know becase its only about ten miles from where I live and yes they are famous for their Sea Salt, dating back to the times when the Romans where living here.

I've been subbed for about four/five months now and been flying through your back catalogue. I now know stuff that A, impressed me and 2, really impressed me. I refer to the episode where Anna and JT were sitting on a small Deere vehicle and Anna swore. OMG the sweet, dainty and giggly lady let rip and, of course, she was right. New hair do and she looked effing Majestic.....also Bo's origins were just ment to be.....mooooooooore.
