FUN FACT!!! The symbol of the looped cross in the middle of the quija board is a symbol called “Ankh” (which is Egyptian hieroglyphics, Colby was right (smart Colby👏)) and means everlasting life and could also be a symbol of Their version of Satan. Everything you guys found was probably from people who believe in Egyptian Neopaganism which is basically people who practice old Egyptian religion in the modern world. It's not an ouija board what you guys have found is called ashamani bored it was used by the Egyptians to talk to spirits. They're very rare and only about a hundred in the world. For you find one in LA in a cave somewhere shocking. As we know of there's only about 25 in museums none in North America. If you look at the center (The eye) that's the Wedjat or "The eye of Horus" it's a powerful sacred symbol usually used to protect someone from envious or ill wishing people. And then in the center of the Wedjat it looks like they combined two Ankh's to form a cross but the Ankh was the symbol for "Life" and "Everlasting life" which was usually worn by both the living and dead and drawn on the walls of a kings tomb. Ankh's were also possessed by every God and Goddess. Also the symbols on the side are defiantly not ancient greek (sorry I saw someone comment that down in the comments below) the ancient Greek had began using more letter like symbols for writing instead of pictures, those are defiantly hieroglyphs unfortunately I don't know what each individual one mean. Also I cant see all of them. Now this is just my conspiracy brain working its magic (also just random rambling) but that graffiti you guys saw that you thought was of a proposal could possibly be a horrible rendition of hieroglyphs where it would show a god or goddess standing tall over someone bowing down to them. Also a myth from ancient Egypt was that Horus right eye was symbolized as the sun (Ra) which they called the eye of Ra and was seen as a powerful and destructive symbol that was linked to the fierce and destructive nature to the sun so maybe that's why they drew the eye??? I don't know I'm just stumped as to why someone would make a Ouija bored with the symbol of protection and eternal life. Unless they meant the Ankh from the Catholic/ Christian faith that they adopted although it's meaning is close in nature but just means resurrection and eternal life. Overall though I have no idea if these symbols would be making the board more 'powerfull' or if the person who made this was maybe trying to get In contact with an Ancient Egyptian god by using these symbols, or hey they just wanted to make rad looking board that was unique and didn't know what the hell these marking symbolized and just threw them on there but yeah there's my mindless ramble for the day :'))) But you gotta admit the board looks pretty rad. Just a heads up: I’m in college training to be an artist and have memorized plenty of Egyptian carvings and sculptures for the six art history classes that have had to take. With that experience I can say with complete certainty that the writing is no where close to Egyptian hieroglyphs. It isn’t Greek, Arabic, Linear A, Linear B, or Assyrian. It is also not Sumerian, but the writing does have a couple elements of all these languages. Conclusion: This board was created by an artist who either wanted to make it look real or was creating their own language as a way to communicate with the dead. (I had some crazy friends and we created similar alphabets.) Whatever it is, you guys are idiots or master film makers. Love the story.
