You laugh, Chet, but someday you will join our age group. I feel your pain, Dougo. The youngsters laugh at me. There are days I can still run circles around them, but they're getting fewer. I pray you heal quickly. Please stay safe, and God bless.

My wife ran to the dining room to watch your video, she was in the kkitchen, she got super excited when she heard Chet say: We lost another rubber yesterday. She watches all your videos with me and the dog. Chet has a great vocabulary... Definitions of ruination. destruction achieved by causing something to be wrecked or ruined. synonyms: laying waste, ruin, ruining, wrecking something on the farm.

As far as pulling a green planter with a red tractor it’s not too bad. We pull our air seeder with a quadtrac and planter with a magnum tractor. Both have the green fit in them so we run jd autosteer and then the rate controllers also work too it’s super slick… and way better than dealing with a green tractor. Best of both worlds

In England where a river crosses a road and you have to drive through it we call it a ford. Anyway there’s one near me and if your truck, tractor etc is really mudded up a few back and forths through that with a bit of speed is great for loosening and clearing a lot of the muck. If you could find one near you or apply for a permit to construct your own one you’d save hours of hand labour.

Hey chet, check your t300 on the drive motors on inside of track, if there's a metal plate covering the hydraulic lines, remove an clean the dirt out from around those lines, they will literally rust a hole threw the motor itself, don't know what kind of metal bobcat uses but it rust up really easy in spots where you can't see that good, ask me how I know, bad news bears man, thanks for sharing

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting. Sorry to hear that Dougo has a cracked rib. That can be quite uncomfortable. Just takes time to heal it. Dougo you take care of yourself. Do light work only. Getting up in years and these things happen. Take care Dougo, we are thinking the best for you. Get better soon. Thanks to you, Eric, for doing the field mapping and replacing tile flags and such. Know it is not you best job but important to do for the farm. I see you cleaned up a shed that was blown away in the storm. Busy time work for you. Mapping is kind of interesting job, teaches you the farm layout. Thanks. Chet , you and the Iowa boys were having another trying day in the muddy fields with the tillage machines. Hard on equipment and hard on the operators. Not the most enjoyable day should we say. Hang in there guys. The shop is a mess again with tons of mud for Brody to clean up. Oh my. Amazing how much mud comes off the tractors and tillage machines. Lots and lots of mud. Hang in there Brody cleaning that up. Dougo you be careful helping with that cracked rib. About it I guess. Thanks for everything Chet and crew. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. Brother man… be happy it’s only dirt that you’re having to dig out of tracks. 😂

I’m sure you can pull a Deere planter with a case quad trac. Worst comes to worst you can just put Deere guidance in a case quad for the planter and it will foresure work. But I’d be surprised if you need to do that. The case quads have always been better. We used to have all Deere equipment trill we tried a quad. And it was unbelievable how much better they pull then the Deere. And burns less fuel and better transmission. And and snd and.

Brody, you might want to put a band aid, or something sterile over that wound on your hand. I was thinking maybe some antibiotic ointment wouldn't hurt slapping on that cut, because putting a dirty glove on an open wound ain't good fella, ya got dung on the field's, and now you probably have dung in that cut, that's how you get echolie, mersa, and any other bacterial infection. Of course these video's have a lag, so I'm guessing it healed, but next time, think about a first aid kit, don't the shop and tractors have them? You guy's are funny, and Dougo is falling apart as he ages, tell him to not be so aggressive. G-d bless everything everyone.

Doug, I'm guessing that when the mortician deals with farmers, they see many, many times the injuries than any other industry. I know I spent the month of September trying to cut the same thumb off, cut it one way the beginning of the month and the other side the end of the month. It's a physical job, even with all the modern conveniences.
