Take this house. Y’all will never find a house this nice in California for the price!!!!! Do it do it do it!!!! You will make new friends in Texas!!! Plus with all the money you’ll be saving, you can fly back to Cali whenever u want to visit your friends and fam in Cali!!

I AGREE!! California is a failing state. People are wising up and fleeing from ther and an insane rate. The amount of people who have left California and moved to Texas, Arizona, and Florida is insane..You can live so much more comfortably in other states. I dont even like travelling through California due to the taxes, gas prices and cost of living. Not to mention they cater to illegal immigrants instead of cleaning up the homeless disaster in the bigger cities. Texas is such a patriotic state. You really cant go wrong when deciding to move fro. California to Texas!!

That 2 acre backyard is EVERYTHING! Imagine the puppy and the kid(s) playing out there and the awesome family picnics you could entertain! Plus, you won't get that kind of privacy and space in Cali (even at a million dollars).. I pray you receive wisdom and peace for whatever decision you make on moving or not... But that is a gorgeous home! And you would be close to mama-dukes. Obviously, I'm rooting for Texas. HeeHee! I think you would be happy there. Clean air, open space. Very peaceful looking.

Girl! I feel the same way haha. We are moving to Texas as well and the houses are so nice and cheap. It's so scary and stressful to think about moving to a whole other state but I feel like it will be great because I will be with family.

My in laws are from florida and last time they visited, they went house shopping. The looks of shock on their faces from the house prices here compared to Florida had me rolling.

It depends on what city in Florida. You can get major bang for your buck in Florida depending on the city. Orlando area, Miami, etc are extremely expensive but even coastal town in FL like St. Petersburg, New Smyrna, Pensacola, Navarre, and many other places are not nearly as expensive. Leesburg is 30 minutes to Orlabdo and you can get a massive 5000sqft house for the same price of a 1 bedroom apartment in Orlabdo. We have actually been more comfortable financially in Florida than Alabama!

It’s easy for all of us to tell u what to do but I honestly can say you guys were so joyful seeing that house u loved that even if you didn’t get it , the experience of being in Tx clearly shows how much you can get for your money. There is no way you could find anything close to the type of house you saw there . Remember... “home is where your heart is”.... your heart is one another so why not be in Texas w a great lifestyle / home u can afford ?! Visiting family and friends will always be an option and they too can travel to u! I could sooo envision you staying in Texas w your mom nearby ! Best wishes on whatever choices you make

My husband and I moved out of California less than a year ago and we have no regrets. Our quality of life has gone way up and we were able to pay off debt and buy a house within 6 months. Best decision we ever made ❤️ P.S. lovesac makes teal couches

I know it's hard to leave friends and family but someone who lived in Texas, it will fit you guys perfectly. I suits your budget, lifestyle, and just everything. I say if you want to have your perfect home and make a life for you and your kids, you should move to Texas. I think it'll be more than worth it long term

I love Salt Grass. Excellent steak and the best strawberry cheesecake I've ever had! The house is gorgeous, especially that yard. The weather was pretty mild this past weekend. When I lived in Houston and then Huntsville the weather was always more mild than when I moved to Austin and now Dallas. My parents moved us to Houston when I was a kid from MO and we've been in Texas ever since. After college in Huntsville then we moved to Austin and then we moved to the DFW area, been there ever since. Your mom can custom build a sofa. We picked out the fabric for our huge sectional and is so comfy and it was only $1500. We got it at Nebraska Furniture Mart, which is in The Colony, TX, north of Dallas. People come from all over to buy furniture here.

If you get the house, you'd have to be very careful of the grapevines with Beau, since grapes are toxic to dogs. That is the ONLY con. You NEED that house!!!! I love the backyard in the first one too. It looked like an Oasis

Texas! Texas! Texas! I live in San Antonio TX and I have lived here my whole life and I'd NEVER EVER leave it! Yall looked so excited looking at those homes....it looks like yalls heart has found it's new permanent place to call home. Hope yall choose to move here. Good luck and God bless.

Lots of upkeep (lots of grass to mow, pool, landscaping), so it's something to just remember. Don't forget the property taxes too. Good luck!

If you buy a house with a pool make sure you budget to get the pool fenced completely! In Australia it's a legal requirement for all pools to be fenced because it saves lives. My mum hung bells on the pool fence so that even if we tried to climb it she would be alerted - not that we tried to climb once we understood it was dangerous (around age 5).

Buy that house, you two seemed so happy there. This is exactly how my hubby and I were about the house we live in now, we just knew it was the right one, despite it being further away than we wanted. Yes you’ll be leaving your home and some friends, but you can visit and enjoy them while still owning your dream home ❤️

That last house was absolutely stunning. It was definitely my favorite too. The first was was beautiful but way to formal. It honestly reminded me of something your grandparents would live in and not a young family. Idk just my opinion.

Omg that last house was amazing! I'm in love with all of it but that bathroom with the shower in the middle is the coolest bathroom I've seen! The backyard would feel like you're on vacation all the time. With the money you would save you could visit friends and family in Cali and they could come and stay with you. I would love to see you guys live there! Emma would be so cute with a Texan accent!

I am from Europe living in the States and trust me, houses in UK will last way longer than American ones. We just sold our house, it was brand new when we bought it and after 3 years we have problems you would never have in Europe.

That’s rare that you BOTH loved the house. I think you should seriously talk about getting it. You’d be so much happier. I live on 5 acres after selling 15 of it and I’m still happier than I would be with living in any major city. That house was beautiful. I am rooting for the house in Texas for your family.

I would definitely go for the house you loved the most. I did for the house myself and my husband are in now. I just loved it, I kept wanting to go back and see it and the feeling I had when I seen it was like - "Yeah, that's my forever home". I've never regret buying this house and I bet you guys wouldn't either! Also, do it while Emma is young and she can grow up in YOUR home (not a rented one) and make so many memories ❤🥰

Have y’all thought about the maintenance and upkeep with a large house, huge yard and pool? It’s a ton of work and $$$. Not to mention furnishing that much square footage. Obviously I don’t know your finances, but it seems a lot to take on with Justin in school and just a RU-vid income?

Wow! If I were you guys, I would totally take that house. When you have your own family, priorities definitely change. I never thought I would leave Canada but now I live in France. My husband is French and this was definitely the right move for our family of 4 and 2 dogs.
