We hope you all are enjoying our DR series! Lots more on the way😀 Don’t forget to hit the 'thumbs up' button if you enjoyed the video and hit SUBSCRIBE ✅ (and that little bell 🔔) to follow along on our travels. Stay Delightful!✌- Anna & Trevor
I have been to most areas in DR and I would highly recommend Samana. The Los Haiteses boat tour was great. The best place to stay would probably be Las Terrenas.
What a perfect day!! A stunning beach, Caribbean food, Danny and then a pizza movie night )with some wine!! You guys are loving the best life! Keep doing it 🍻
Amazing video! I'm from Montreal and got the privilege of having Dany boy as our guide. He's really the best in Punta Cana! He'll make sure everything is going smoothly and that you'll have the greatest experience ever!!! If you want his contact let me know!
The beach is so beautiful! The people have taken care very well of it. The water is so clear. Love to see you two enjoying your travel there. 🌊🥰 The food there looked very tasty. 🍕🍕😋
Enjoying your series on the Dominican Republic. FYI: never refer to the Dominican Republic as "the Dominican". The Citizens of the D.R. are considered "Dominicans", but they are insulted when someone from outside their country refers to it as "the Dominican". Lived there as a Resident Alien for 5 years and learned a great deal about the social mores of the people and culture. Continue posting great videos and enjoy your continued stay in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!
I came here specifically to see if someone posted that! I’m so glad you did because I’ve noticed in their later videos they do say Dominican Republic. It drives me crazy when people refer to it as “The Dominican”
Thanks for taking us on your Punta Cana adventure! What a magnificent beach. The food looked fabulous - even the pizza. Looking forward to the next part of your excursion!
Keep up the great videos! What a wonderful beach and your guide seems very nice. Traveling is all about those connections. Can't wait to see what adventures come next!
@@DelightfulTravellersWe're in Alberta and so it's been very bad for a good long while. Getting better now. No real plans, apart from community trips, small town videos. Just putting the finishing touches on our road to Shuswap Lake episode from 2020. (I'm behind 🤣).
Oh yeah. . .that's a beach that's more than delightful. . .that beach is stunning. I would assume it all gets more peopled come the high season. Still. . .very nice.
Thank you so much for all these wonderful videos! I appreciate all the countries you have visit and I am learning so much from you guys. I was born in the Dominican Republic and I miss it so much. I have not been able to travel there for many years because of my hectic life in the states. You are giving me the opportunity to see my beautiful country.
WOW! What a beautiful beach! And the food!!! You two are beaming with happiness in this series! Great tip on hiring a driver! Awesome video guys!~Cara 😊
We ( 2 Montrealers) will be in Punta Cana on Nov 17th :) for 2 weeks.... Can't wait it's been 3 yrs since we've been there. if you get a chance go to the Hard Rock Punta Cana Resort and Casino. Great place.
@@DelightfulTravellers Yes. This will be my first trip to the DR. My wife, and I only have 4 days this time around, but we would definitely return for an extended stay elsewhere in the DR.
You're going to love it there Andy. Make sure to go down to this part of the beach for an afternoon adventure. Dreams looks so nice! We drove past it on our way to this beach 🤗 - Anna
We love the DR! This will be our third trip there since last December. We went to Puerto Plata and looked at properties there as well as Sosua and Cabarete. We then went to Punta Cana last March but unfortunately our trip got cut short. We always make a point to visit the local area outside of the resorts wherever we go. I'm looking forward to your videos from your time up in Cabarete. I'd absolutely love to have a condo there someday.
Dreams resort offered room service all inclusive so we would order the Margherita every single night. They had a legit pizza oven. Amazing resort honestly just preferred Bavaro beach much more. Dreams pool was *chefs kiss* if you’re into pools more.
Santo Domingo is not the oldest city of the Americas. I think that distinction goes to Flores in Guatemala. Santo Domingo is the oldest *_colonial_* city of the Americas. Ignoring native peoples is a tough habit to break for all of us. But it's important we remember and acknowledge that they were here first.
Hi guys, loved the vid (of course, lol!). The drone footage was INSANE, holy smokes. Hot weather, a beach, great food, and palm trees are therapy for this Cdn, lol! Cheers guys from ON (for now).
Love you guys and am enjoying the videos but as a fellow Canadian, please, you do not need to apologize in every video about the lighting or the background noise. We get it and understand. Love that you are doing some slow travel and balancing your outings with some downtime. And thank you for making food so prominent. So happy to see you out doing what you love and are so good at.
@@DelightfulTravellers finger crossed you get to 100000 soon. You deserve it. Spreading it on my social media but I don't (on purpose) have much of a following.
Beatifull beach. But the bether beach in the Dominican República is definitivamente Bahía de las Águilas. This beach is in Pedernales, in the south of the country. Welcome to the bether country on the World.
What a beautiful beach ! . Definitely going to consider going to the Dominican Republic after years of thinking it wasn’t the place for us and will be watching your future videos for more inspiration. Currently watching all your lockdown videos in El Nido and totally putting the Philippines on the list of places to visit . Loving your interaction with Chris and Carol of Jumping Places whose El Nido videos we are also watching . Do you have plans to ever meet up with them ? It would be great . Keep the videos coming from DR . Sending love from 🇬🇧
I'm going to Macao Beach tomorrow for lunch and surfing lessons. Can you try to be specific about where you got that amazing chicken. Do you remember the name of the restaurant or any defining characteristics... as you can imagine time is of the essence for us with this question.
Great videos guys, keep it up, u should really go to Las Terrenas, Samana instead of Sosua, trust me you won't regret it, Saludos from Santo Domingo 👍🇩🇴
Omg im missing that beach ⛱ it's my favorite! Macao beach is beautiful and the food. I love getting the fried snapper fish there, it's so fresh. Close by Macao beach there is a cave that you can go swimming in and it's open to everyone. It's really nice 🙂 if you guys like any nightlife, try a night out to Drink point, it's not far from where you're staying, it's a really happening night club with lots of tourists that go and you have to try Coco Bongo! Santo Domingo has a beautiful rooftop pool bar , I forget the name but it's the roof top of the main casino there. Also you need to go to Boca Chica in Santo Dominigo. It has a beautiful beach full of shops, bars and restaurants. Cabarete has a beautiful beach and lots of restaurants and bars along the beach. It's beautiful there. It's right beside Sosua. Enjoy yourselves, I cant wait to go back its like my second home.
We are so loving the DR and thanks for all the recommendations here. It's our first time truly exploring this country. It's starting to feel like our future second home 😀- Anna
Nice wading beach, I'll give it a 9 for relaxation but a 1 for adventure. The pizza was a fair bit better than the beach. Looking forward to seeing some of Santo Domingo
Hi there. Great video lots of wonderful information. We are heading to the DR in Nov. can you give me information on your tour guide. Would love to contact him. Thanks again
Amid the beauty of Playa Macao, the new Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana sits as an idyllic haven where families and couples can experience an all-inclusive Punta Cana resort with Unlimited-Luxury.
Hope you guys enjoyed your trip. I am from Canada and visiting the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 soon. I would like to see more of what the Dominican Republic has to offer. I was wondering if you can connect me with your friend in the video to give me more of a local experience rather than just the resort experience. Thank you in advance.
hello trevor and anna, your friends, jumping places, chris and carol were also there last 2 months, pls watch their videos...am still following their travel video like yours, they're now in brazil...
Talk about a Caribbean paradise! That beach looks ah-maze-ing and the food sounds delicious. Thumbs up to Danny Boy who seems like not only a helpful tour guide but an all around affable ‘go to guy’ for just about anything. Keep these relaxing videos coming 😉.
@@DelightfulTravellers Well Thanks for letting me know, if I would go there I would definitely try different kinds. But yes fish isn't for everyone. Thanks again and have a great day!!!! 🌴😎😎🍁
@@DelightfulTravellers Thank you. We are using them for our two week rental mid January in San Jose del Cabo. Our first time using them. Have used vrbo twice.
