Oooohhh I haven't had a hamburger like that in such a long time! In Brazil you can find medium-rare burgers like that in nicer restaurants, but here in Canada it's hard to come by (there must be places that do it, probably in Québec, but here in Ontario I haven't found one like that yet). Your mom's salad looked so good, I would have ordered THAT! Crap, I'm hungry again. Anyhow, I'll miss seeing your mom in your videos! I hope that she has a good trip back to Japan 🙂 She should join you again somewhere else on your trip!

I spent part of the video trying to figure out what the _heck_ a “Hamburger du Ministère” was-and _then_ I realized that the name of the restaurant is “Aux Ministères” (At the ministries [government departments]-I guess it’s near a lot of government offices)-and so the hamburger is, essentially, named after the restaurant. Ha, how idiotic of me! It’s great that you found a place you liked so much, you went back several times. (I would have, too.) I’m glad you had a wonderful time with your mom, George! Now go enjoy London!

Looks more like cured duck brest rather than ham. That's also what they should put in that kind of salad.

You have to work with the pronunciation of "merci". You speak the word like the English "mercy". Besides from that, quality video. Normally, I wouldn't correct language, but for your own sake, considering the huge gap between: Thank you=merci, and Don't kill me=mercy, this lesson might be useful for you in future travels.

funny thing when i went to france, most of the vendors spoke to me in english without doing angry face. and i always try to start the conversation with some french sentences i memorized.
