The Patriarch who gave me my patriarchal my blessing said he recognized a lot of people of the tribe of Dan here in Ireland (they’re not getting baptized, he said) This ties in with Irish history/legend which tells of a people who were of the God of Dan (Tuatha Dé Danaan) coming to Ireland bringing law and light.

That's really interesting. I'd have never made the connection between Danaan and the tribe of Dan. I always sort of accepted the scholarly supposition its root was the Irish Goddess Anu or Danu. It deserves looking in to. It is also fascinating that the story of the Tuatha de Danaan conquering the Fomorians parallels the conquest of the Nephilim tribes of Canaan by the Israelites, and the Lapham interview story regarding the Lehite scouts finding the remains of a civilization of giants in the New World. In each case, the lands of a malign people are inherited by a God blessed people. You may be on to something there, since patterns tend to repeat.

Former mission president and his wife who served in Russia says that members there descend from all the northern tribes. The mix of descendants as revealed from patriarchal blessings is awesome. Many faithful people had been persecuted over the centuries, many relocated or were banished to Siberia.

Glenna, your comment is truly captivating! The intricate tapestry of our ancestry, combined with the rich spiritual heritage of the gospel, is nothing short of remarkable. Your family's lineage tracing back to Scotland and your feelings of being linked to the Tribe of Ephraim is testament to the expansive and intricate design of our Father's plan. Indeed, the prophetic promise that the lost ten tribes will be gathered in the last days is unfolding before our very eyes. As it says in Jeremiah 23:8, "But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land." Your personal journey and connection to Ephraim might very well be a part of this grand design. How blessed we are to witness and be a part of these times! Your testimony adds a beautiful stitch to this unfolding pattern.

@@budgillett Thank you for your inspired kind and gospel centered words. My patriarchal blessings confirmed which Tribe (ie. Ephraim) I belong to and am teary 🥲 eyed as I experience the glory of God within his promised blessings for me walking within and on the Covenant path. I especially pray for my black brothers and sisters to let go of Satan's rhetoric, verbiage and lies and conspiracy theories against the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and seek truth/answers directly from God. Satan lies in wait to deceive many to reject God's truth as they rely on their carnal mindset which is death. To be spiritually minded is Peace and Life. Stay Blessed my brother and continue to be a Blessing.🙏🏾💛

@@RealLadyG Glenna, your testimony is a shining beacon, a testament to the enduring power of faith and the love of our Heavenly Father. Your words resonate deeply, reminding us of the profound truths found in Romans 8:6, "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." It is evident that your journey on the Covenant path has fortified your relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Your heartfelt plea for your black brothers and sisters is both touching and essential. In a world filled with noise and distractions, may we all find the strength to turn to the Savior, seeking truth and guidance directly from Him. Your commitment to the Restored Gospel and your prayers for others to find the same light and truth is commendable. Prophet Russell M. Nelson has often spoken about the importance of personal revelation and seeking answers from God. It's through this divine communication that we can truly discern truth from error. Keep holding onto that rod of iron, Glenna. Your unwavering faith will surely bless and inspire many. May the Lord continue to be with you, and may His promised blessings ever enfold you in His loving embrace.

Finally someone asking the right questions. Of all the early church leadership that made statements about there also being a group of the ten tribes that was intact and separated from us there was only one Seventy who posited a dispersed only theory. None of this was brought up or debated. How about Christ’s visit to them? Or the timing of their restoration as recorded in Esdras or the record they will bring? There was so much that was missed by focusing on a dispersion only theory as doctrine. The mocking of other possibilities leaves the listener at a disadvantage for actually discovering what the true implications of their restoration are. Like the Jews of old they assume rather then asking and are left to themselves. I hope the next installment will include a counter theory or two with a little more respect. I really like Ward Radio, but it is so unfortunate they are only getting half the story.

John the Beloved visited Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was the tribe of Ephraim. Remember that, like the three Nephites, John can “show themselves unto whatsoever man it seemeth them good.” John would not be limited to one group anymore than Christ was. The ten tribes were in Assyria. They were scattered to and then from the Southern kingdom. They were scattered from the north countries. The were led out of Jerusalem. They were scattered to the British Isles. They were scattered to the islands of the sea. There are literally scattered among all nations. If there is a large group somewhere, they are not mysteriously hidden. They are in plain sight. During the millennium the ten tribes (already gathered through the work of the church) will be brought to an area just north of the Holy Land (in one large group) and then they will be restored to the land of their inheritance.

You know I think we’re gonna learn quite a lot in the very new future about the tribes; and just how connected we all really are to each other. It reminds me one time I was listening to Sister Nelson give a talk; talking about a time when she had visited a group of sisters and she had asked them what tribes they belong to or something to the effect of that; and she just named off I believe in the talk some tribes and just had the women in The crowd raise their hands based off of the tribe they were part of. I found that so amazing. And it just makes me wonder regardless of what race any of us are; just how truly connected we really are.

A lot of descendants of Jews in PR (maybe not just Judah-Jews?). Manassas is common among Hispanics for some reason... maybe not just Lehi. We can also be reassigned, I am guessing? But Ephraim and Menassa are both twin tribes, under Joseph. A friend of mine from PR tested as having Ashkenaz DNA... specifically. There are a lot of Jews who fled the Inquisition... check their rolls for your ancestors if you can go back that far. Also, there are many Jews that arrived in the Americas first among the nations... many fleeing religious abuse and genocide

A couple of memories on the Ten Tribes, one was I think one of my mission presidents remarking that according to a missionary he knew serving in South East Europe I think Romania, that a significant number of blessings were listing Gad as the tribe. Another is of an Ensign Article (Mid 80s i think)that used linguistic data as evidence of a theory that some of the tribes passed through or settled in Germany.

I was reading 3 Nephi 5, today. Verses 24-26 say the children of Israel are scattered througout the whole earth. It is very direct. Here is an excerpt..."and then shall they be gathered in from the four quarters of the earth unto their own lands, from whence they have been dispersed;...".

You need to talk to Dr Terry Blodgett, a now retired professor from SUU. His doctoral thesis was the Germanic sound shift that occurred around 700BC. He found close correlations to Hebrew pronunciation and found thousands of words that came in from Hebrew. He started tracking those linguistic shifts, and the heraldry associated with each tribe, in different areas around the world. It's really interesting reading.

I saw something similar years ago, in an ensign article. The author mentioned that both the proto-Celtic and proto-Germanic branches of Indo-European have some characteristics that are outside the norm from other related Indo-European languages. These characteristics have similarities to Semitic languages such as Hebrew. Both of these languages (Proto-Celtic and Proto-Germanic) date to roughly around that same time period (though further back for proto-Celtic than for proto-Germanic). One example of this is that Celtic languages have the VSO (verb, subject, object) word ordering, like the Semitic languages have. I saw an interesting youtube video on that recently also. Folks who have ancestors from the British Isles can trace most of their ancestry to both Celtic and Germanic language speakers. The same is true for much of Europe actually, as both the Celtic and Germanic tribes migrated throughout much of Europe at various times in history. In the case of the Celts, it was before the Roman Empire (in the Celts' heyday) and in the case of the Germanic tribes it was mostly after the Roman Empire fell (Goths, Longobards, etc.). Some of the Celts even migrated to central Turkey around 280 B.C. (from whence came the Galatians of the New Testament). Of course, we can't know for certain if those influences came from Hebrew and part of the lost 10 tribes. It could have come from a pre-Indo-European substrate language, which would have been spoken in those areas before the Indo-European speaking peoples migrated in. These Indo-European speakers were likely the Bell Beaker and Corded ware cultures in prehistoric times.

In his book, The Majesty of God's Laws, Cleon Skousen gives the background England on pp. 296-8, which reveals how some of the ten tribes made it to England. The Celts first occupied the entire British Isles before the Christian era. Around 55 BC the Romans controlled England, and referred to the island tributary as "Britain." After 400 years of occupation, the Romans left Britain because Rome needed all of her legions to fight the invading Goths migrating down from northern Europe. This left the native Celts to govern themselves. Shortly thereafter the Celts began violently attacking each other to determine who would be the new rulers of the island. The king of Kent looked desperately for help and had observed tall, yellow-haired Anglo-Saxons from Scandinavia who were ferocious fighters. He asked them to help him, they agreed, and the Anglo-Saxons came across the English Channel in hundreds of Viking boats. After they helped the king of Kent win his battle, he wanted to reward them and send them back to their home country, but they announced that they liked living in Britain and planned to stay. The outraged king of Kent battled with them and was defeated. The Anglo-Saxons not only occupied Kent, but within a few generations they brought over more of their tribes and pushed the native Celts into Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. The dominant tribe among the Anglo-Saxons were the Engels or Yinglings, which they later changed the name of the island from Britain - as the Romans had called it - to Yingling-land or Engel-land. This eventually took on the modern name England. Now here's where it gets interesting. Missionary efforts began in 590 A.D. by Catholic priests to convert the pagan Anglo-Saxons. As some of the Anglo-Saxons were taught Latin so they could read the Bible, they were amazed to find that their own traditional laws were recorded by Moses in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The pagan Anglo-Saxons had never written these laws down, but had memorized them from generations to generation. It was the Anglo-Saxon King Alfred who later recorded these laws in his native language and said: "The law was first revealed in the Hebrew tongue..." According to historical records among the Anglo-Saxons, the people who occupied northern European nations were descendants of the Scythians or Goths who originally migrated from the region of the Black Sea where the lost 10 Tribes were located just before they disappeared into the north. Skousen says, "It is for this reason that many scholars have suspected that the descendants of the Goths or Scythians in northern Europe (and England) were actually remnants of the 10 Tribes and that the code of laws which they handed down from generation to generation was basically the same charter of commandments and statues which Moses had received on Mount Sinai.

There are also records in the Book of Jasher and other books which mention that after Assyria fell a large group of the lost 10 tribes went as a body together to The land north called Aseroth. They repented and swore to God that they would serve God in a foreign land better than they did in their own land. God lead them by the hand with a pillar of fire by night and smoke or cloud by day for over a year to this mysterious land Asteroth. This is where the speculation is that they went off planet or are in a cave somewhere in the artic circle. In D&C 133 it talks about "those who are in the 'NORTH' countries" shall remember the Lord and their prophets no longer stay themselves and they shall smite rocks and ice shall flow down at their presence and a highway shall be cast up in the midst of the great deep. So it does seem like a 2 sided gathering. A gathering of scattered Israel who don’t know their lineage scatter all over the globe. That's 1 half. And this group in the North....wherever that is. Off planet? In a cave? Who knows. But their return will be incredible. So much so, that Jeremiah's says it will be more miraculous than the red sea parting of Moses. See Jeremiah 16:14-16 and Jeremiah 23:7-8. There is always a 2 part gathering mentioned. The gathering of the people out of the North Country AND those scattered from all the countries God has driven them. Some might pass off the notion of off planet as being silly or preposterous but in Deuteronomy 30:4 it says: If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: the outermost parts of heaven sound like space or some planet. Some think the land of the north is where there is a portal to off planet escape. Then in the parable of the olive tree in Jacob chapter 5 he has one of the scattered natural branches that he plants that is in a very poor spot of ground and it does the best of all his gardening but it too eventually goes bad. So there are some interesting things that could happen. We are living in exciting and interesting times. Maybe that's why the prophet says we shall see some of the greatest miracles in our day!

I can appreciate that we have to contend with this subject reasonably, and bring it down to earth a bit, but there are very good reasons members of the Church have come up with all sorts theories about where the Lost Ten Tribes are. Many of those theories are crazy, but they're crazy because the prophecies are crazy. What was presented in this video addressed the scattered portion of the Northern Kingdom. The Samaritans, exclaves of diaspora Israelites in Europe and Asia and what appears to be the majority of the "minority" 10 tribes in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. I've been hearing about people being declared from Naphtali, Simeon, Issachar, Reuben, Gad, Dan and Zebulun from the Balkans to the Baltics for about 20 years. Sister Nelson's experience among the Russian sisters confirmed this rumour I've been hearing. Moreover, there are people in the Church who have had blessings declaring them to only have the blood of Abraham, but be of no tribe, others declared to be partakers of all the tribes and I've even heard of someone declared a descendent of Esau only. There are many, many quotes from Prophets of the Church making the point that there is the scattered portion of the 10 tribes, and that there is a separated portion, that has been led away by the Father. Joseph Smith stated in Kirtland (I think during the Temple dedication) that John was at that time ministering to the that separated group of the Lost 10 Tribes. It also should be remembered that the early Saints knew the apocrypha and had it in their scriptures. It is from the book of 2 Esdras where we get the notion of the Lost 10 Tribes that are referred to in the D&C. 2 Esdras 13:40-50: 40 These are the ten tribes of Israel who were taken away into captivity in the time of King Hoshea. King Shalmaneser of Assyria captured them and deported them to a foreign land east of the Euphrates River. 41 But the ten tribes decided not to stay in that land among the many Gentiles, so they moved farther east to a country where no human beings had ever lived before. 42 There they hoped to keep their laws, which they had failed to keep in their own country. 43 When they had to make the difficult passage across the Euphrates, 44 God Most High performed miracles for them and blocked the channels of the river until they had crossed over. 45 Their long journey through that region, which is named Arzareth, took a year and a half, 46 and they have lived there ever since. Now in these last days they are coming back home, 47 and once again God Most High will block the channels of the river, so that they may cross over. That is the meaning of the great crowd of peace-loving people you saw. 48 But they will also have with them all of your own people who are left and who are found within the borders of my holy land. 49 When the time comes for my son to destroy the crowd that has gathered from every nation, he will protect his people who are left 50 and perform many great miracles for them." Then during Christ's ministry to the Lehites in 3rd Nephi, it is easy to read the references to the gathering of Israel as referring to the scattered portion and/or the separated portion, those chapters make no specific references to a specific special group. However, Ether 13 is different and a bit spooky to be honest. It is where there is direct reference to the "north countries": Ether 13: 11-13 11 And then also cometh the Jerusalem of old; and the inhabitants thereof, blessed are they, for they have been washed in the blood of the Lamb; and they are they who were scattered and gathered in from the four quarters of the earth, and from the north countries, and are partakers of the fulfilling of the covenant which God made with their father, Abraham. 12 And when these things come, bringeth to pass the scripture which saith, there are they who were first, who shall be last; and there are they who were last, who shall be first. 13 And I was about to write more, but I am forbidden; but great and marvelous were the prophecies of Ether; but they esteemed him as naught, and cast him out; and he hid himself in the cavity of a rock by day, and by night he went forth viewing the things which should come upon the people. Here, as soon as Moroni starts to "write more" about the content of 11-12, the gathering of Israel, he is instructed to stop. Unlike Jesus' teachings in 3rd Nephi, where there is no reference to "north countries" specifically, but to the four quarters of the earth and the many places the Father has led the tribes of Israel. These "north countries" and the statement "last shall be first and first shall be last" are clues to what Moroni was forbidden to write about. Then you get to the D&C 133:26 : 26 And they who are in the north countries shall come in remembrance before the Lord; and their prophets shall hear his voice, and shall no longer stay themselves; and they shall smite the rocks, and the ice shall flow down at their presence. 27 And an highway shall be cast up in the midst of the great deep. 28 Their enemies shall become a prey unto them, 29 And in the barren deserts there shall come forth pools of living water; and the parched ground shall no longer be a thirsty land. 30 And they shall bring forth their rich treasures unto the children of Ephraim, my servants. What a lot of people miss here is that it doesn't say "And they who are in the north countries [who are of the House of Israel] shall come in remembrance before the Lord", in fact, it doesn't call them the 10 tribes or anything like that, but only "they who are in the north countries". Without 2 Esdras, Moroni's commentary in Ether, and a reference in D&C 110 during the Kirtland temple dedication, we'd not be able to connect these together. The "north countries" people aren't necessarily all Israelites, but seem to have Israel among them. Isaiah also provides some connective tissue for this, but it would make this way longer. Jacob 5 is also provocative as to the extent of how far the house of Israel was scattered. There are three branches taken out, one goes to the poorest land "in the vineyard", the second to land "poorer than the first" and the third branch is placed in good ground. The roots of the first tree have the wild branches grafted into it, this is likely the rise of Christianity and time of the Gentiles. The first branch is likely scattered Israel in the nethermost reaches of the earth, and the third branch most people are confident represent the Lehites, being planted in good ground. It is the second branch that is bit bizarre. First we're told that the first branch is planted in the world place in the vineyard, then the second is planted somewhere poorer. Two ways of taking that are available. 1) The servant didn't know the vineyard very well and the Lord of the vineyard was saying "hey you thought that place was bad, here's a place worse than that." or 2) the servant knew the vineyard very well, and the Lord was showing him a plot of land outside of the vineyard that was way worse. I don't know which one makes more sense. Although I favour 2, because Christ is very adamant, when talking about the scattering of the house of Israel, that the Father had led them away. This makes God the Father the Lord of the vineyard, and the servant Christ. Indeed it appears this might be the very reason that Christ in 3rd Nephi doesn't say "I taken them" but "The Father hath taken them". Still, the option is open. Then there are the quotes from W. W. Phelps that go waaaaay off the deep end, talking about a continent in the North pole and the remnant of Israel being among the people of Enoch. Brigham seemed to think they were separated off onto a piece of earth the same way the city of Enoch was as well. That's sort of the rub for me. The City of Enoch was separated from the Earth, and then we get all shaky when it is implied that this "north country" might be in a similar category. The situation is not an "either or" it is a "yes and". James E. Talmage, who is far more reasonable and down-to-earth also taught the same idea in his works, that there was a scattered portion and a separated portion. As late as Joseph Fielding Smith, there was a strong confidence among the Brethren that there was the scattered part and a separated group that went somewhere mysterious. Since then, most references I find in General Conference just go back to the restoration of the Keys to the Gathering of Israel, which picks out the 10 tribes specifically. From President Joseph Fielding Smith: “The Ten Tribes were taken by force out of the land the Lord gave them. Many of them mixed with the peoples among whom they were scattered. A large portion, however, departed in one body to the north, and disappeared from the rest of the world……..that they will return in a body, must be believed, else how shall the scriptures be fulfilled? There are to many prophecies concerning them and their return in a body to ignore the fact.” I am not saying that this is how things definitely are, but what I am saying is that members of the Church are not delving into fables by thinking it is the case. Joseph Fielding Smith had ideas about evolution that I think were completely misled, so maybe he isn't trustworthy on this subject either, I don't know. What I do know is there are clear demarcations that this is the doctrine taught since Joseph Smith and embedded in the scriptures. Does that mean that the Lost 10 Tribes are on another planet as some quotes attributed to Joseph seem to indicate? I don't know, but I do know the picture isn't so cut and dry as "it's all a bunch of Mormon myths". There is clearly more going on.

@@user-yn9tv3pw6u Yes. Personally, my provisional position is that Israel in totality is scattered and is beginning to be gathered through our efforts, and that there was a hidden group taken out, like the Lehites, and brought to a place that continues to be in separation from us. If I were to indulge my inner Kwaku, I would say that this separated "poor ground" from Jacob 5 are other earths. That the Father scattered the seed of Israel to the cosmos in fulfillment of his covenant with Abraham that the "sands" and "stars in the heavens" would be the number of his seed. Why use both the earth beneath and the heavens above, unless that's what God meant? Of course, the other way to interpret this is the Celestial inheritance we receive through Christ, and it is a future prophecy not one that has already taken place.

Love Shaun's work but this is why anyone who does deep dives into 2nd Coming LDS eschatology should take a modeled approach to the interpretations rather than a dogmatic one. Whether you subscribe to the interpretations of the Pickerings, Michael Rush, or Shaun here it is best to take the truths they share and judge them against the scriptures and the prophets and build a model based on the more solid established truths of the gospel. And as always, pray for the spirit for understanding and revelation to help discern truth from error. :)

Agreed. To much opinion shared as doctrine. By making a case for scattered Israel only he ignores so much of scripture and the Latter-day leadership on the topic including Joseph Smith himself in order to convince the listener of his hypothesis. The fact of the matter is that both things can be true and probably are. You can have a group led away as stated in scripture and those who were left behind or scattered from among their number. To ignore or ridicule one in favor of the other shows the utter lack of investigation into the topic. In third Nephi we are told that the Jews were not told by Christ of their brethren the Nephites because they assumed to know the answer. The same holds true for Latter-day Saints who assume about the Lost Tribes and ignore scripture and prophetic statements about them. They will believe Enoch was taken off planet, but turn their backs when such a thing is suggested for the Lost Tribes. Time to stop pointing fingers at our ancestors and realize that we are now them!

I strongly disagree with Shaun here. What I don’t like about the 10 Tribes discussion is that we usually get people proposing false dichotomies. The truth can be somewhere in the middle. There could be descendants scattered throughout all the nations. There could also be a body of them somewhere. We know Joseph said that John is among the Lost Tribes right now and is a king among them. We know that the scriptures talk about a highway from the great deep. We know that the scriptures talk of both the dispersed and outcasts of Israel. They’re distinguished. Some are dispersed. Some are outcasts. What does that mean? We also have cases in the scriptures where you do have multiple prophets. You have Jeremiah in Jerusalem. Ezekiel with the refugees. Daniel in Babylon. And Lehi in America. God allows multiple lines of authority when there’s no way for them to communicate with each other. So it is totally possible for them to have prophets, and for those prophets to be put under the authority of the Prophet and the 12 when they are gathered.

So I am taking that to mean that only the Father knows where on the planet those tribes are because HE personally led them to those places and it's not for anyone else to know no matter what. Exactly like saying that only the Father knows the exact day and hour of the Second Coming. There were other passages I wanted to quote/paraphrase but I have forgotten them now but I'm thinking they can be found scattered throughout somewhere in the OT, NT and BOM. I hope that helps. This was kind of glossed over, but the "lost" ten tribes being scattered across Assyria is pretty significant. There's no reason to think that they stayed in the Black Sea area, especially after the fall of Assyria. It's easy to see them going into Modern-day Turkey, up into Russia through Georgia and Azerbaijan, and even into Asia. If they followed traditional migration patterns, then they would be scattered all across Europe, and yes, even to the British Isles in a relatively short period of time. I also remember hearing a few times about mission areas in Russia where patriarchs were consistently giving Patriarchal Blessings and pronouncing lineage across all 12 tribes.

There were scholars who wrote where the tribes went in a book probably hundreds or many more years ago from which more modern writers have taken info to put into their own books but I can't remember one title. Many tribes settled in European countries. Since the Brits are of Joseph, as they traveled there from Israel, they probably crossed from Holland. Some may have remained there. I remember France was settled by Reubenites and Denmark (Danmark) by Dan. Don't expect that tribes would have gone as a whole to one place. One tribe settled along the west coasts of several European countries which probably was Zebulon, but I'm not too sure.Being in sin, a tribe could have split and each part gone in different directions. From other sources, I have learned that Gad may be in Spain but that they also went to India where the Book of Gad was found not long ago. It is in the Apocrypha where some people got the idea the lost tribes went to the North Pole. Thus, in 2nd Esdras 13: 40 to 47 it says, "...the ten tribes....time of Osea.... Salmanasar the king of Assyria led away captive...carried them over the waters... into another land. But they took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen [probably the other rotters of the 10 tribes] and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt. That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land. And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow passage of the river. For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over. [ Maybe that's why the Euphrates is drying up today] For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth. Then dwelt they there until the latter time [ soon to come back now]; and now when they shall begin to come, The Highest shall stay the springs of the stream again, that they may go through: therefore sawest thou the multitude with peace. Isaiah says a highway shall be cast up before their feet. Some believe this applies and because Isaiah mentions the ice melting, therefore they are returning from the North Pole's inner earth. Esdras had received this vision about the last days. It is obvious that this group of 10 tribes was to stay there until the latter days. How far can people walk in about 330 days? I've already deducted Sabbaths and some Jewish holidays. Caverns underground are possible. There were scientific debates centuries ago whether Earth is solid or hollow based on the belief that a heavier solid Earth can't remain in orbit, etc. I 've had the book for > 50 yrs., The Hollow Earth by Dr. R. W. Bernard ??? Never read it yet. The mortal Jesus said no one but He had ever been to heaven, yet. We never leave this Earth. Heaven is coming down to us at end of Millennium once the Father arranges to move his stuff by U- Haul spaceships. Heard on one channel that Enoch has been living in an underground grotto on Earth. Not all of inner earth can be Hell. Even the Navajos believe they came from underground. It would be interesting to find out what the root word of Arsareth means but have to find out if it's Hebrew or Greek.

Ephraim had the birthright and blessing to be the first tribe to gather the rest of the twelve tribes...God sent an awakening and restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to do so. The baptismal font in the Temple is carried by 12 what? 12 oxen. Ephraim and Mannasseh were the bulk of the first gatherings into the early church from England, Scotland, the rest of northern Europe, Polynesia, etc. Also know as the Isles of the sea. Now there are so many people from the rest of the ten tribes who have recognized the truth, acted on it, and helping to gather Israel along with us.

Yeah this one is simple. In my BYU Islam/Judaism studies class, our professor said that with how many people were carried away out of the north kingdom, the way genes spread over time, and the world population back then, it's very very mathematically likely that everyone alive could trace their lineage back to Abraham. The number 10 also doesn't really refer to specific tribes. It's to say that 10 out of every 12 people of the kingdom of Israel were carried off and lost to culture melding. From Pharez we get the lineage of King David and the known Jewish descendants. Zerah has some records which suggest he went to Ireland and up north. Later on when King Zedekiah was taken by the King of Babylon and all his sons killed in feont of him and his eyes plucked out. Jeremiah the prophet flees either just prior or shortly afterwards with one if the daughters of king Zedekiah to Ireland in a boat. He also took with him Jacob's stone pillow. (The one he anointed after his vision of the ladder to heaven in Bethel.) The people grew and prospered in Ireland for many centuries then immigrated also to Scottland and they still have that stone of Jacob called the Stone of Scone or the Stone of Destiny. All the monarchs get coronated stilling iver that stone. The British stole it for their coronations and then some college kids from scottland stole it back one day and they finally made a deal with Scottland that they could keep it in Scottland but England would borrow it when they had a coronation. So lots of history/legends about Jewish royalty and the the monarchs.

Also the Stone of Scone was analyzed and it is from a different stone that is not found anywhere in the British isles. The stone did however match the stones in around Israel.

The brethren call it “believing blood.” When the lost tribes created families with the Assyrians, they “diluted” their believing blood, but in doing so, they were able to scatter the believing bloodline among the other nations. Otherwise, there would have been more nations completely destroyed by massive natural disasters and events. As long as there is one person with believing blood in a community, there is hope for the community to repent and come unto Christ. Also, the symbol for Manasseh is a vine that can go over the wall and get into difficult places. Most Native American/Hispanic members are from this tribe, and can connect with cultures that Ephraim cannot. And 99% of members are direct descendants of the original 13 tribes. The 1% who are not, are adopted into the House of Israel and receive their inheritance directly from Abraham and are not assigned a tribe in their patriarchal blessing. It is said that when someone is adopted into the House of Israel at baptism, with 0% natural believing blood, there is a physical transformation that occurs, because their blood is being transformed. Their skin/hair/eyes change color after baptism. More believing blood = More likely to recognize and act on truth. Also, it is genetic. So 1st generation converts most likely receive their believing blood through their mother or father, or both. Which is why Temple work is so critical. We KNOW that somewhere in their line is entire families who are of the House of Israel. Anytime anyone does anything to bring someone closer to Christ, they are casting a net to gather Israel. Birds of a feather flock together. Believing blood attracts more believing blood. That’s why missionary work and temple work are so critical. It’s likely the people closest to you are also literal descents of Abraham. That’s everything I know… 😅

Somebody read Sister Lawrence's 2014 zone conference transcript on the House of Israel 😏

@@QuarrelsomeYeti NO WAY! After I read what she had to say on my mission my whole experience got SO much better, and my entire identity was put into greater context. I also wanted desperately to just sit and listen to her and her husband in person. I still have that transcript and read it often. A year or so later I got off my mission in Utah and an opportunity to do summer sales in Fresno fell into my lap out of nowhere. That wasn't something I ever expected to do, but I took it. During the last month of my time in Fresno all the YSAs in the area got together for a multi-day event, and one day was structured as a "room rotation" where we would spend 40 minutes listening to guests that were invited to share spiritual messages and then we would switch rooms. I got to the last room, and I couldn't believe who was teaching--it was Sister Lawrence and her husband! My group was small and I got to talk to them for a while afterward. I told them my story and they told me they learned all of the things they know about the House of Israel with the help of (then) Elder Russell M. Nelson. She later spoke at a stake Conference that the stake held later that month and it was amazing. My experience with them was definitely a testimony builder for me that God really does want to fulfill our righteous desires, especially when it comes to truth like this.

Yeah, we had a 6 hour conference, expecting Elder Lawrence to speak. He only spoke for like 10 min, and the rest was Sister Lawrence just walking us through the entire timeline of The House of Israel, from Pre-Existence to the Final Judgement.

Maybe some of the people in the Latin Americas, are of Jewish descent. Go back to the 1400s during the Spanish Inquisition; the Jews were forced to convert to catholic, some Jews did convert to the catholic religion and also changed their names to Spanish and 1000 of them came to the Latin American. If you watch videos of people from the Latin Americas do dna genealogy, most of their ancestors is Jewish, middle eastern descent.

I have actually been to mount Gerizim (near modern day Nablus) and attended a Samaritan wedding. They were super hospitable. Interesting detail though, marrying a non-Samaritan was absolutely forbidden until the last few years. They lifted the ban because their numbers had dipped so low. However, the non-Samaritan must convert.

Look at Y-DNA map lines and the mT-DNA directional lines. Y is father to son, mT is mother to daughter. Israel follows a maternal line, as in Matthew, because at birth the mother has a known genetical line where father may or may not be of a genetic line, i.e. Jesus’ actual father was not Joseph but God, thus Jesus was 1/2 Jewish (mom) and 1/2 Elohim (dad). Genetic mapping… cool stuff.

Lost to the gospel and their birthright. But there is still the random guy driven to building a UFO in his garage to fly to the center of the earth to lead the lost tribes back to the surface (AKA a guy in my mom's Ward)

Come on, don't laugh, we've all been there before, I was building mine in a hunting cabin up in the woods. Then I woke up and learned I was just being silly. Most people have started to build one or have built one completely. Wow, what a weird dude he must be.

@@wes2176 Haha!!! I never made it to one of their Gospel Doctrine classes. He was quite vocal and would dominate the discussion. The best my Ward got was an old guy who would tell about being in a tour group and a giant man is dark skin appearing in the crowd, hearing his testimony, then no longer being in the crowd when it was time to leave. This man was then determined to be one of the three Nephites.
