And actuall Indonesia has tons of them! To be honest Bali's beaches are not even among the best actually. Raja Ampat, Labuan Bajo, Rote, and even Belitung which is only 50 minutes flight from Jakarta, have better beaches than many famous Bali beaches. What Bali has, however, is its amazing culture, and beautiful inland nature.

Amazing footage! We went to Lombok in June but didn’t do the secret Gilis (we’d done Gili Air just before). But we loved Lombok so much we’ll definitely go back soon. Thank you for this!

Lombok has more gilis ( small islands).. Gili nanggu, gili kedis, gili gede, gili lontar, gili poh, gili rengit etc

Wow. I went to Lombok a few years ago and did the Secret Gilis off SW Lombok as well as the Gili Islands. And I am planning to go to Lombok again and I'm glad I have seen. This is definitely your worst kept secret because now I will be going there LOL I actually want to go to Balabac as I did go to Palawan once before but only around El Nido

beautiful islands. i wanted to go to the same islands you went to when i went to Lombok a few years ago but no time :/ (although did make it out to pink beach in Sekaroh) you said no time for Kuta in the south but this island hopping trip surpasses that. Lombok is so less congested and less touristy than Bali for sure so it feels nice. btw if you don't have time to climb mt rinjani, definitely would recommend Pergasingan Hill lovely view. but you are probably somewhere else now. enjoy your travels :)

Nice video guys. Lombok is gradually get some highlight these days, about time people get to know this beautiful neigbors of bali. Try to learn surfing in selong belanak, it's a great place to learn surfing. FYI some of the softest sand beaches in indonesia are those in kei islands. Some even say that the sand exactly resembling baby talcum powder, esp in ngurbloat and madwaer beach. Hope you have the chance to visit those places.

@@klaraduniec9622Sorry for take it so long to answer, somehow RU-vid don't notice me. It's easier to reach it if you made Jakarta as your entry point to Indonesia, from jakarta take flight to Ambon city and take another flight to Langgur, and better base in ngurbloat area. Be warned tho, Kei islands is not build as a mass tourism area. If you like beaches and nature, it's paradise. If you go there for party, this place is not for you. In case you want to reach this place from Bali, you need to take flight to Makassar then take flight to Ambon city and another flight to Langgur, Makassar city has beach town nearby, which is Bira it's also boast some fine white sand beaches like tanjung Bira beach, Ambon also has Liang beach, Natsepa, Lawena and many others. Hope this helps.

The difference between bali and lombok is Bali is more strong in Culture and Religious combain with the nature thats why bali is one of the best destination in the world. Lombok is more about nature but not really strong in culture,a lot of people there still not open minded compare to balinese,and i agree lombok nature is 100% more beautiful than Bali

Wait until you see Komodo National Park he..he..for me KNP is one of the most beautiful place in Indonesia. Btw Maratua - Derawan island in Kalimantan, many people called them Indonesian Maldives. This area has amazing Kakaban Lake - stingless jellyfish Lake. Eastern part of Indonesia has some amazing beaches or coastal area such as Ora Beach, Banda Neira, Kei Islands, Raja Ampat, Wakatobi, Bunaken, Likupang etc.

Philippine beaches are much better the coconut and palm trees lining up is just stunning. The locals are the most hospitable, can speak english, you can literally do whatever you want in the Philippines, rent a boat, rent a tour guide, private kayaking, rent a private hotel in the middle of the ocean. Indonesia is great, but in the Philippines you can move freely. Planning to go back in a few months!
