Hi awesome video, just have a quick question, I have the Nokta Legend and have seen a few videos of depth test in soils, it seems people are only really getting around 6-7 inches on them tests but around 14 on the air tests. Is there a chance I would be missing targets at all if mine has the same issue. I am new to this and trying to learn as much as I can. Any help or comments would be awesome and appreciated. Thanks
An air test will always show greater depth, as there is nothing between the coil and target. In the ground however, there are many factors that can affect depth. It all depends on the condition of the soil, mineralisation, moisture content, weather its ploughed rolled etc etc.
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting thank you for the reply, yes I am finding that on certain permissions that the soils are so different, ran some tests on one of my permissions and easily hits a silver shilling at 8 and another struggles at 5, oh well looks like a revisit when I save up for a deeper detector although on the same ground I would hit coins and other targets way over 8 inches. Time to start experimenting a bit more. Thanks again and awesome videos
