We Found You - Runway Gen:48 2nd Edition Film Competition
Short Runway AI horror film by Andrew Gibbs
This is a short AI film I made for the Runway AI Gen:48 2nd Edition Film Competition. You had 48 hours to create something with three elements that were given to you, using Runway's Gen-1 or Gen-2 AI software.
I chose -
A vengeful spirit, a cabin in the woods, and a retro television.
Those elements definitely fit my style. First, I came up with the concept. I loved the phrase, We Found You. It screamed the vengeful spirit idea. So I wanted to come up with something around that.
After that, I went through and created my images inside of Midjourney. I storyboarded the entire thing out, making sure it fit together.
Next, I ran the images through Magnific to upscale, and then color corrected and cleaned up the image inside of Photoshop.
Then I ran everything through Runway's Gen-2 to get the motion I needed.
Any dialogue was created using Eleven Labs.
Finally, all the video and sound effects went into Davinci Resolve, and I put the edit together.
It was fun seeing what I could do within the time limit and requirements.
