Frankly this is an insane take, RU-vid makes billions off exploiting content creators and often makes it very difficult to monetize content even if it’s inoffensive. The biggest RU-vidrs make a lot of money sure but mostly from sponsor/product deals like any celebrity. And the mid level content creators mostly rely on outside sources like patreon. And it’s not easy to build up any kind of audience that can support you. Thinking of youtubers as a privileged class is actually giving the site more leverage to take advantage of people
