My grandfather has Alzheimer's Disease. I started filming in July 2023.
I knew it would take something far greater than a short film to ever encapsulate what it is like to experience Alzheimer’s as a family, but part of the Alzheimer’s battle is sharing stories and spreading awareness.
My Pop-Pop loved to share stories with everyone, especially waiters, unsuspecting deli counter employees, or anyone who stayed at church for as long as he did. He has not been able to tell stories in the way he pleases for some handful of years now- it’s with the greatest honor that I have done my best to share a part of his story for him.
